Sr Growth Marketer (f/m/x)

Remote ✓EN
D

Most growth roles at this level are execution seats: run the campaigns someone else planned, report the numbers, wait for direction. This one isn't that. You'll own performance channels and CRO end-to-end — what we spend, where, and why — and use AI to do the work of a much bigger team. doinstruct builds software that helps organizations train and enable their frontline teams — the people in factories, logistics hubs, construction sites, and manufacturing plants who are hardest to reach with conventional L&D. We're Series A funded, growing fast in Germany, and expanding into the US. The performance foundation exists, but GTM Engineering, the team that will eventually run automation and AI agents across growth, is still being built. You won't just use whatever tooling shows up later; you'll help shape what it needs to do. What you'll own • Own performance channels (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta) end to end: strategy, budget, and the number they produce, working closely with an agency to execute at scale. • Run experiments continuously across landing pages, funnels, and forms — always testing something, and documenting it in a way GTM Engineering can build on later. • Work daily in AI tools — Claude, Clay, Cursor or Lovable, n8n or Make — to move faster than a traditional performance team. GTM Engineering owns the infrastructure; you're the fluent user who tells them what's worth building next. • Turn spend and conversion data into a clear read on what's working, and change course fast when it isn't. • Bring a performance lens to our US expansion, and grow your scope as the channels you run prove themselves out. Who you are • 4-6 years in performance marketing/growth, in B2B SaaS, with real ownership of a budget and a number you were measured against. • Hands-on in Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Meta — you've built the campaigns yourself, not just briefed someone else to. • A real CRO track record: you run experiments constantly and can talk through what you changed, what moved, and what you learned even when a test didn't go your way. • Comfortable in HubSpot, GA4, and Google Tag Manager — you can set up and troubleshoot your own conversion tracking. • Already using AI tools daily — Claude, Clay, Cursor or Lovable, n8n or Make — because it's genuinely how you get more done, not an experiment on the side. GTM Engineering owns the infrastructure; you just need to be a sharp user of it. • Fluent in German — this is a must, not a nice-to-have. What's different here You won't be handed a media plan and a set of guardrails. You'll be handed a budget, a target, and the room to figure out the fastest path there. That includes working closely with an agency — you know these channels well enough to run them yourself, which is what makes that relationship work — and helping define what AI and automation should take over as GTM Engineering builds it, rather than waiting for a finished system. Why doinstruct • Series A funded, 400+ customers, under 2% churn — growth here compounds on top of a product people actually keep. • We're moving AI-first as a company, which means the tools and support to go deep on AI-driven growth work, not just permission to try it quietly. • You're joining while the growth motion is still being built, so the systems you put in place are the systems that stick. • A real US expansion underway, which means your channel work doesn't stay confined to one market for long. What success looks like 3 months You've taken over your channels, you understand what's been tried in CRO and why, and you've shipped your first tests. You can tell us what's working and what isn't, with numbers behind both. 6 months You've got a repeatable testing rhythm running, at least one channel or conversion point looks meaningfully better than when you started, and AI tooling is visibly part of how you work rather than a side experiment. 12 months You own a bigger piece of the growth budget than you started with, because you've earned it. There's a clear, repeatable system for performance and CRO at doinstruct, and it's one you built. ____ At doinstruct, you can make full use of your skills and play an active role in the further development of our start-up. And yes, we attach great importance to a positive working atmosphere, maximum transparency, communication at eye level, and support every step of your personal and professional development. Even if you don't tick all of the boxes, but you are motivated and want to work with us, you are very welcome to apply. We embrace diversity and hire people based on their ability to perform a job. People of any race, gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, political opinion, or marital status are welcome at doinstruct. _ For questions or remarks please reach out to our Talent Acquisition Manager, Leonard, at leonard.mielke@doinstruct.com.

Experience with Trino, Flowman, or Delta Lake will make you stand out. • Infrastructure Knowledge: You are comfortable with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS. • Quality Mindset: You don’t ship without tests. No unnecessary bureaucracy, no micromanagement – we rely on you to take things forward. • Build > Talk: We test what works – not what sounds good. Fail fast, learn faster. • High standards, low ego: We take our work seriously, but not ourselves. Direct feedback, honest collaboration, no drama. • Stay sharp: Hackathons, conferences, community – we invest in your growth and keep you at the cutting edge. • Remote flexibility. In person, when it matters.: You work flexibly remote, with a connection to our Berlin or Cologne locations, where our TV Labs are and we experiment, build, and learn together. • And yes – the fundamentals are covered too: 30 days of vacation + Dec 24 & 31 off, Smart Fridays (4 days week possible), mobility (Germany ticket & JobRad), sports & health offerings, mental health support, corporate benefits, RTL+ access, and more. Your CV is just the starting point. What matters more to us than your resume: a portfolio, a side project, a demo repo – anything that shows you don’t just talk about code, you ship it. Production-ready. Thought through. Done. Remote in our day-to-day work. On-site when it matters. We work remote by default – focused, efficient, and with full ownership. Site Reliability Engineer (f/m/d) – Observability & Internal Tools

Remote ✓EN
B

We don't just subscribe to services; we engineer platforms. We believe that deep in-house expertise and a strong commitment to open source provide the flexibility and performance that enterprise SaaS cannot match. We design, we steer, and we own our stack end-to-end. Your Mission You will be the guardian and architect of smartclip’s internal infrastructure. Your goal is to turn observability and automation from "tools we use" into a "platform capability" that empowers every other engineer in the company. • Own the Observability Stack: Take the lead on Prometheus, Grafana, and Forgejo. You won't just maintain them; you will evolve them into a world-class monitoring ecosystem. • Engineer for Reliability: Design actionable alerting and define SLOs that move us from reactive firefighting to proactive stability. • Champion Open Source: Evaluate and implement cutting-edge open-source alternatives to proprietary software. You decide what enters our stack and how it integrates. • Secure the Pipeline: Integrate security engineering directly into our delivery process. You find the vulnerabilities before the pen tests do. • Master the Metal: Navigate the depths of Linux systems and distributed tooling, balancing bold experimentation with rock-solid production stability. Your Skills We are looking for a "builder" who is bored by simple configuration and thrives on systems thinking. Core Competencies: • Observability Expertise: You have a proven track record of implementing metrics, logs, and traces. You know how to turn noisy data into actionable insights. • Linux & Systems Engineering: You are comfortable in the terminal and understand how distributed systems communicate and fail. • Automation Mindset: You hate doing the same thing twice. You use code to automate infrastructure and eliminate toil. • Ownership Culture: You embrace the "you build it, you run it" philosophy and take pride in the stability of the systems you touch. The Power-Ups (Nice-to-haves): • Hands-on experience with GCP or AWS at a production scale. • Active contributions to the open-source community or a portfolio of self-hosted projects. • Experience in conducting blameless post-mortems and driving root-cause analysis. Why you’ll love working with us • Ownership over tickets: You’re trusted with real responsibility, not just tasks. No unnecessary bureaucracy, no micromanagement – we rely on you to take things forward. • Build > Talk: We test what works – not what sounds good. Fail fast, learn faster. • High standards, low ego: We take our work seriously, but not ourselves. Your CV is just the starting point. What matters more to us than your resume: a portfolio, a side project, a demo repo – anything that shows you don’t just talk about code, you ship it. Production-ready. Thought through. Done. smartclip is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, ethnicity, nationality, age, gender, gender identity, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or any other diverse characteristics. C++ Engineer (f/m/d)

Remote ✓EN
B

The Challenge Imagine a system that must decide, in a fraction of a second, which ad to show to millions of users across the globe. Thousands of requests per second. Zero room for lag. One wrong pointer or a suboptimal lock, and the whole house of cards falls. This is our Ad Server. It’s written in C++, it’s lean, it’s mean, and it’s the heart of smartclip . Stop implementing boring features. Start architecting performance. We don’t want a coder; we want a Performance Architect . Look at a profiling report and see a puzzle to be solved. Treat std::vector with respect and know exactly when to deploy a custom allocator. Your Mission • Fight Latency: Hunt for microseconds. Optimise the hot path of our ad-serving engine. Ensure our response times stay lightning-fast, even during peak traffic. • Master the Distributed Chaos: Evolve our architecture on smartx to handle transnational scale. Tackle the CAP theorem in the real world, not in a textbook. • Tame the Data: Architect how we use NoSQL to fetch complex targeting data without breaking our latency budget. • Set the Standard: Stop following style guides – define them. Establish the C++ best practices that keep our codebase maintainable while pushing the hardware to its absolute limits. Your Skills • Master C++: Understand how the compiler thinks. Leverage modern C++ and dominate memory layouts and cache hits. • Live in Linux: Make the terminal your home. Use perf, gdb, valgrind, and strace as your primary weapons. • Think Distributed: Build systems that live on more than one server. Understand why „distributed locks“ are usually a trap. • Simplify the Web: Use HTTP, JSON, and XML as the efficient wrappers they should be for your high-performance logic. Direct feedback, honest collaboration, no drama. • Stay sharp: Hackathons, conferences, community – we invest in your growth and keep you at the cutting edge. • And yes – the fundamentals are covered too: 30 days of vacation + Dec 24 & 31 off, Smart Fridays (4 days week possible), mobility (Germany ticket & JobRad), sports & health offerings, mental health support, corporate benefits, RTL+ access, and more. Junior Technical Product Owner (f/m/d) - Data

Remote ✓EN
B

The Challenge Data services are the engine room of smartclip . If the data doesn’t flow, the system doesn’t work. We don’t need a passive coordinator; we need a Junior Technical Product Owner who is hungry to learn, brave enough to ask the hard questions, and obsessed with making things work at scale. Stop just „managing requirements“. Start owning the lifecycle of a high-performance data ecosystem. Turn technical chaos into a clear roadmap and move our services from „it works“ to „it’s bulletproof“. Your Mission • Translate Complexity into Action: Stop writing vague documents. Convert complex business needs into precise, actionable technical requirements that engineers love to work with. • Collaborate with the Experts: Embed yourself with our Data Engineers. Refine requirements, define brutal test cases, and master the architecture of our data flows. • Own the Lifecycle: Guide every feature from the first spark of an idea through development, rollout, and live operation. Keep the big picture in focus. • Command the Toolkit: Use Git, Jenkins, and monitoring dashboards to maintain absolute visibility over system health. Don’t wait for a report – find the bottleneck yourself. • Engineer Reliability: Bring structure to the noise. Lead the transition from a working prototype to a reliable, scalable service. Your Skills We value hunger and ownership over a perfect CV. Prove you have the drive. • Show Your Ambition: Bring initial experience as a TPO/PM, or prove your technical affinity and your obsession to grow into this role. • Speak the Language: Master the basics of TDD, ETL, and monitoring (Grafana, Graylog). If you don't know them yet, learn them fast. • Bridge the Gap: Communicate with precision in an agile environment. Understand the developer's pain and translate it into a business solution. • Act Independently: Stop waiting for instructions. Take ownership, be pragmatic, and deliver results. • Challenge the Status Quo: Communicate clearly and honestly. Ask the right questions – especially the ones that make people think. Bonus XP • Bring experience with data pipelines, microservices, or the AdTech world. If not, come ready to learn it from the best.
