Role Overview The Team Lead, Education Sales leads the Education sales team and owns the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for the Education segment, covering both University and Student markets. The role is responsible for driving new institution and student customer acquisition, growing ARR within the existing base, and reducing churn across both segments. The University segment operates through direct, relationship-led sales to institutions, while the Student segment runs as a low-touch, digital-first purchase journey, requiring close partnership with the Ecommerce team to optimise the online funnel, conversion rates, and pricing experience. Reporting to the Sr. Director GTM Strategy & Transformation, this role requires a commercially driven sales leader with a hands-on approach, a track record of owning segment revenue end-to-end, and the ability to coach and develop a team while remaining personally active in deals. The role operates with a high degree of autonomy and suits someone who wants to build and scale a team rather than maintain one. Main Responsibilities • Lead and develop the Education sales team, setting clear individual performance expectations, coaching from the front, and stepping into deals directly where needed to support pipeline and attainment targets. • Own and scale a proactive, discovery-led outbound motion to win new institution and student customers, continuously refining outreach cadence and qualification criteria. • Drive expansion and retention within the existing student and institution customer base, identifying and executing initiatives that grow ARR and reduce churn. • Own ARR and pipeline growth within the University segment through relationship-led, direct sales to institutions, tracking key performance metrics and diagnosing and correcting underperformance. • Own ARR and seat growth within the Student segment, which runs as a low-touch, digital-first purchase journey rather than a traditional sales motion; partner with the Ecommerce team to continuously optimize the online funnel, conversion rates, and pricing experience. • Own accurate pipeline forecasting and attainment reporting for the Education business, providing reliable visibility into performance for sales reviews and senior leadership. • Partner with RevOps, Marketing, Product, and Ecommerce to ensure Education-specific campaigns, content, and product feedback are prioritised and executed effectively. Required Experience • At least 5 years of sales experience within a SaaS or technology environment, including demonstrated experience leading a sales team with direct accountability for team performance and revenue outcomes. • Proven track record of owning a direct sales territory or segment end-to-end, from pipeline generation through closed, retained revenue. • Experience managing and influencing a low-touch, digital or ecommerce-led purchase journey (funnel, conversion, pricing) is a strong advantage. • Previous experience in Architecture, Education, EdTech, or a related vertical is an advantage, but not required. Required Skills • Takes full ownership of commercial outcomes: builds pipeline, closes deals, and drives team performance without waiting to be directed. • Leads by example in the field: comfortable coaching team members through live deals and personally engaging in high-priority opportunities where it makes a difference. • Translates ARR and revenue data into clear, defensible strategy, is able to identify where performance is off track, diagnose the root cause, and act on it. • Communicates with credibility at senior level: presents team results, forecasts, and strategic needs clearly to VP-level and cross-functional stakeholders. • Able to build effective working relationships and collaborate cross-functionally across Ecommerce, RevOps, and Marketing: driving digital funnel and conversion …

We work hard and care about our most prized asset - our people. We’re helping businesses get off the ground by enabling them to focus on running their business. We solve HR issues. We’re data-driven and never stop iterating. If you’d like to work in a supportive, entrepreneurial environment, are interested in building something meaningful and having fun while doing it, we’d love to hear from you. We're united by shared goals and shared motivations at Justworks. These are best summed up in our company values, which are reflected in our product and in our team. Our Values If this sounds like you, you’ll fit right in. Who You Are You're an experienced benefits professional who thrives at the intersection of operational execution and strategic program building. You know EMEA benefits landscapes inside and out — the regulatory nuances, the broker ecosystems, the carrier dynamics — and you're equally energized by the challenge of building scalable processes and programs from scratch. You'll join as a key member of the International Benefits team, initially owning EMEA benefits operations end-to-end while progressively taking on broader program management responsibilities as the function matures. This is a role for someone who wants to build, not just maintain — you'll have the opportunity to shape how Justworks delivers benefits across a rapidly expanding international footprint. Your Success Profile What You Will Work On • EMEA Benefits Operations: Own the full benefits lifecycle for EMEA markets — procurement, renewals, plan design, vendor/broker management, and employee support. You'll be the regional expert ensuring our benefits offerings are competitive, compliant, and locally relevant. 40% • Country Launches: Partner with cross-functional teams (Legal, Payroll, Product, CX, Revenue) to launch benefits in new EMEA markets. With 12 new countries planned in FY27, you'll be directly involved in ensuring every launch includes a strong benefits component from day one. 30% • Broker & Carrier Relationships: Build and manage relationships with local brokers, carriers, and benefits providers across EMEA. Negotiate terms, evaluate plan options, and ensure we're getting the best value for our clients and their employees. 15% • Data & Reporting: Track benefits enrollment, utilization, and cost data across EMEA markets. Use insights to inform plan design decisions, identify opportunities for improvement, and report on the health of the benefits portfolio. • Program Management (evolving): As the function matures, take on increasing ownership of the benefits program operating cadence — cross-functional coordination, goal-setting, stakeholder reporting, and process design. Help build the "operating system" for how Justworks manages international benefits at scale. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Legal, Payroll, and Customer Success to ensure benefits decisions are integrated into the broader international strategy. Serve as the benefits voice in country expansion planning and client-facing discussions. 15% How You Will Do Your Work In addition, all Justworkers focus on aligning their behaviors to our core values known as COGIS. It stands for: • Camaraderie - Day to day, you can be seen working together toward a higher purpose. You like to have fun. You’re an active listener, treat people respectfully, and have a strong desire to know and help others. • Openness - Your default is to be open. You're willing to share information, understand other perspectives, and consider new possibilities. Algolia is the retrieval intelligence layer that turns intent into trusted, decision-grade outcomes. Powering more than 1.7 trillion queries a year for over 18,000 customers with millisecond latency and 99.999% reliability, we are the recognized leader for Search and Product Discovery by top industry analyst firms. The Algolia platform turns a company's products, content, and business rules into data that humans, applications and AI agents can act upon. The result is trusted customer experiences with stronger conversions for measurable business impact. As the Partner Manager for DACH, you will execute Algolia's partner strategy across Germany, Austria and Switzerland, with Germany as the primary focus market. You'll work with consulting partners, systems integrators, technology partners and cloud partners to embed Algolia into the multi-technology — increasingly agentic — solutions they build and sell. This is not a solutions engineering role — you won't be architecting or implementing client solutions. But it is a solutions-focused role: you need real technical fluency, and the ability to inspire partners and customers on the art of the possible with Algolia. In practice, that means identifying and shaping three kinds of agentic solutions: those that combine Algolia with one or more of our technology partners; those built by our consulting partners and brought to market by them; and those built jointly with technology partners around a shared value proposition that delivers real value to customers and end users. Pipeline development, opportunity progression and customer wins all matter — but they all start with getting the innovation right, with Algolia at the center of it. Reporting to the Head of Global Partnerships, and working in close collaboration with the General Manager of DACH, you will develop and execute the regional partner strategy — deciding which consulting, systems integration, technology and cloud partners to prioritize, and building the technical and commercial motions that turn those relationships into pipeline and revenue. Algolia's partner motion in DACH is mature — we've been building relationships in the region for seven years. This role is an opportunity to build on that foundation: taking well-established partnerships to the next level, while also designing and standing up a partner-led growth strategy for the region. YOUR ROLE WILL CONSIST OF: • Developing and executing Algolia's partner strategy across DACH, with Germany as the primary focus market alongside Austria and Switzerland • Building on seven years of established partner relationships in the region, while designing and executing a new partner-led growth strategy for DACH • Building and managing a portfolio of consulting partners, systems integrators, technology partners and cloud partners (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft) across the region • Identifying, recruiting and onboarding new partners into the Algolia Partner Program, with particular attention to partners building agentic and AI-driven solutions • Shaping and championing agentic solutions that combine Algolia with one or more of our technology partners • Working with consulting partners to help them build their own agentic solutions on Algolia and bring those solutions to market • Developing joint value propositions with technology partners for agentic solutions that deliver real value to customers and end users • Acting as a solutions-focused innovator who can inspire partners and customers on the art of the possible with Algolia • Developing a working technical understanding of partner architectures and solutions deep enough to guide partners on where and how Algolia fits — without owning implementation • Enabling partners on Algolia's product and technical capabilities so they can position, sell and deliver successfully • Owning deal registration, pursuit prioritization and account mapping across the partner portfolio • Coordinating go-to-market strategy with partners, including joint marketing, co-selling and technical enablement content • Coordinating across partners, internal sales and solutions engineering teams on strategic client pursuits • Collaborating closely with the DACH General Manager and regional sales leadership to align partner strategy with revenue goals • Collaborating with Algolia Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Product and Enablement teams to ensure partner and end client success • Owning pipeline creation and data accuracy for the DACH partner portfolio, with reporting to the Head of Global Partnerships — recognizing that strong pipeline, opportunity progression and customer wins all start with the right solution innovation involving Algolia YOU MIGHT BE A FIT IF YOU HAVE: • 7-10+ years of experience in a senior Alliance, Channel or Partner role, ideally with technology, cloud or systems integration partners, in a recurring revenue business model • Strong technical fluency — comfortable discussing APIs, search/AI …
