Who are we? Cohere is the leading security-first enterprise AI company. We build cutting-edge foundation AI models and end-to-end products that are designed to solve real-world business problems. We’re training and deploying frontier models for enterprises who are building AI systems. We believe that our work is instrumental to the widespread adoption of AI and we are looking for folks that want to be part of that. We obsess over what we build. Each one of us is responsible for contributing to increasing the capabilities of our models and the value they drive for our customers. Cohere is a team of researchers, engineers, designers, and more, who are all passionate about their craft. We are a global technology company headquartered in Toronto with key offices in London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul. Join us! About North: North https://cohere.com/north is Cohere's cutting-edge AI workspace platform, designed to revolutionize the way enterprises utilize AI. It offers a secure and customizable environment, allowing companies to deploy AI while maintaining control over sensitive data. North integrates seamlessly with existing workflows, providing a trusted platform that connects AI agents with workplace tools and applications. Why this role: The Data Abstractions & Tools team is the group inside North responsible for how users bring their data into the platform and put it to work. We own the systems that let users upload, organize, and share their files and knowledge bases, the framework for extending agents with skills and third-party integrations, and the data-sync pipeline that connects enterprise data sources to North's agents. North connects to a growing set of external tools and data sources so its agents can act on a user's real workflow. This role owns the integration pipeline end-to-end: adding new integrations to the platform, helping other engineers do the same, and becoming the owner of the process that makes that repeatable. You will also create the evals and tests that make sure those integrations work as expected and keep working as the platform evolves. In this role, you will: • Build new integrations (tools) on the North agentic platform, and maintain the ones already in production. • Own the integration pipeline: the process for adding a new tool, from design to shipping to ongoing maintenance. • Help other engineers add integrations of their own, and raise the bar for how the team does it. • Create evals and tests to make sure integrations work as expected and alert on regressions. • Tune tool descriptions to improve performance based on feedback and evals. • Use AI actively in your work, while staying accountable for the quality and reliability of what you ship. You may be a good fit if: • You have shipped production code and are comfortable building integrations against external APIs. • You have a background in evaluating agentic systems (ideal), or at minimum know what an eval is and are comfortable with prompt engineering and tool-description tuning. • You excel in fast-paced environments and can execute while priorities are a moving target. • You bring high agency: you learn quickly and drive change without waiting for perfect instructions. • You've owned things end-to-end before and care about the quality of what ships, not just that it shipped. • You enjoy helping other engineers succeed, not just shipping your own work. Working Location: This role can be based remotely or from one of our office locations listed on the job description - there is no minimum in-office qualification requirement. We care most about hiring exceptional people regardless of locations, though please check the location listed on the posting for guidance around the core time zone or working hours alignment expected for the role. FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES AT COHERE ENJOY THESE PERKS: • A weekly lunch stipend of $75/£75 or equivalent in your local currency for lunch. • Full health and dental benefits, including a separate budget for mental health. • RRSP matching, 401K, Pension Scheme. • 100% Parental Leave top-up for up to 6 months, for either parent. • Annual enrichment benefits: Arts & culture, fitness/wellness, quality time, and a workspace improvement credit. Education & learning stipend for conferences, courses, and coaching. • 6 weeks of paid vacation (30 working days!) • Budget for traveling to other offices if you are remote, plus an annual company offsite. HOW AND WHERE WE WORK: • Cohere is remote-friendly, but we also have offices in Toronto, London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul with more opening soon. • For those in the office: a daily lunch program, plenty of snacks, and regular community and social events. • For those not near an office: a co-working benefit so you can work alongside others in your city. • Everyone receives a $500 home office …

Staff Engineer for IT Automation & AI transformation (Remote)

SoSafe has the ambition to become the leading human risk management provider in Europe. Our award-winning awareness platform triggers behavioural change by providing effective and engaging training and simulations on cybersecurity and data protection. Cybercrime is costing the world >$10 trillion annually and growing by 15% p.a. - we invite you to be part of the solution! Location Requirement: This role is open to candidates currently based in and legally authorized to work in the UK, Portugal, Germany or Ireland. We are unable to consider applicants outside these locations. Are you a visionary Staff Engineer, excited about pushing the boundaries of automation and artificial intelligence deployed across a whole company? We're seeking an exceptional candidate to join our IT Engineering team to build the foundation for our AI-native future, in one of the industry's fastest growing SaaS scale-ups. Things no-one seems to know yet: • How to make traditional automation & productivity tools consistently useful across a whole business in a post-AI world • How to balance traditional tools against foundation models and agentic working • How to enable (and protect) citizen builders to use spec-driven design and self-built AI-agents to actually change the organisation, reliably, safely and at scale We want you to solve these problems. Here's how you'll make a difference: • Test-bed: Architect, build and iterate a toolchain fusing traditional automation and productivity tools (n8n, google workspace, etc) with spec-driven design and agentic working, test out on IT and Security • Iterate: Advocate, mentor and enable other early adopter teams to use our platforms, get value, provide feedback, iterate the platform • Standardise: Build self-sustaining cultural practices across the organisation, enable whole departments, scale the platform for everyone • Drive the evolution of IT operations towards an all-encompassing *-as-code infrastructure model through hands-on architecture and design • Contribute to the IT/Sec Operating System as we move wholesale to build-not-buy teams • Mentor and level up the existing IT engineering team, then whole departments, serving as a technical guide to accelerate skills transfer and foster a strong, collaborative engineering culture • Champion and advocate for our shared automation and AI platforms and methodologies, driving cross-departmental adoption to break down operational silos. What makes you a great fit: • Demonstrated experience operating at a Staff Engineer level, ideally within an established, successful, cloud-native hypergrowth SaaS environment • Hands-on builder and systems thinker - A background that includes hands-on coding, ideally in a platform or SRE team. IT experience is secondary, we need builders who can help others build better • A track record of successful AI-native adoption, showcasing how you've successfully moved workflows beyond experimental prompts into robust, production-grade automated workflows or agents • Deep technical mastery of at least some of: infrastructure-as-code, modern CI/CD systems (e.g., GitHub Actions) and enterprise-grade workflow orchestration (e.g., n8n, Zapier) • A pragmatic engineering mindset: You understand that while agentic working is fast and flexible, it brings significant utilization costs; you know how to design hybrid architectures that balance speed with financial efficiency. When faced with a complex problem, you instinctively break it down • Great leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills: The biggest challenge is always people, not technology. You treat internal teams as your customers and excel at explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical "citizen coders" and executive stakeholders alike. What you will get in return: • A mandate from the CEO to massively accelerate our AI-native transformation in every role, actually solving the AI-related questions that we’re all asking, at speed and scale • A company comfortable with rapid change and iterative development - We love experiments that fail, as long as we learn from them • Collaborative and highly supportive IT and Security team around you - We prize a safe and enjoyable working environment, good work-life balance and solid mental health above all other things • Close relationships with super-smart, highly engaged peers across G&A, GTM and Product Engineering What we offer* • Work/Life balance: Flexible hours, 33 vacation days • Wellbeing and financial support: Access to Open Up, corporate discounts • Connection & community: Virtual events, collaborative team activities, and opportunities for local meet-ups • And the list goes on: Tech equipment, referral bonuses, dog-friendly HQ *Perks and benefits listed above are for full-time employees and may vary slightly by office location. Engineering Compliance and CSV Manager

Remote ✓EN
A

Hi! We are AMBOSS, and we're looking for someone to take the role of Engineering Compliance Manager and CSV & Process Validation Manager in our medical device team. About AMBOSS AMBOSS is a dynamic learning and clinical decision support tool committed to empowering physicians globally to deliver optimal care. Since our inception in 2012, we've harnessed cutting-edge technology to transform the way physicians acquire and apply scientific knowledge. Each AMBOSSian is passionate about being the champion of clinicians today - this motivates and unites us each day towards success. And what does success look like? When a clinician or med student tells us, “AMBOSS makes practicing medicine easier and enjoyable. I love what I do, and a big part is because of AMBOSS.” Why can this position be exciting for you? At AMBOSS, we build tools that help doctors and students make critical decisions impacting the healthcare of billions of people worldwide. This position makes sure that our product is built, verified, and documented in a way that's compliant, trustworthy, and audit-ready. You'll work closely with engineering as an independent evaluator, setting the standard for what "done and compliant" means across our medical device software. Join a small, high-impact team ensuring our medical device software meets the regulatory standards needed to safely support healthcare professionals. You will: As CSV & Process Validation Manager, prove our systems and processes work and produce reliable evidence. • Own the computer system validation and process validation processes for the AMBOSS medical device portfolio — procedures, templates and work instructions — keeping them aligned with MDR and ISO 13485 and updated based on audit findings and team feedback. • Maintain the inventory of systems in scope and decide, risk-based, which need validation and to what depth; plan, execute and document that validation and keep systems in a validated state as they change. • Concentrate validation effort where the evidence is produced — test management, defect tracking, build/release tooling and automated pipeline steps whose output can't be fully verified by inspection alone — confirming these systems and processes reliably produce trustworthy, intended results. • Own the resulting evidence and represent it directly to auditors and regulators; raise, document and own validation deviations and the associated CAPAs through to resolution. As Engineering Compliance Manager, ensure the medical device product itself is built compliantly, from a day-to-day engineering work perspective • Own compliant execution of the software lifecycle — requirements, design, implementation, verification, release — against IEC 62304 and IEC 82304-1 • Define the compliance requirements and gates in our delivery pipeline against IEC 62304 and IEC 82304-1 (traceability tagging, release criteria, automated checks) and partner with engineering to implement them. • Operate the compliance gate in the release flow, keeping the trace intact from user requirement through verification to released evidence. Sign off each release as a required gate; no release ships without your approval. • Ensure engineering-related Technical Documentation deliverables are compliant with regulatory and QMS requirements • Onboard and train software engineers on compliance requirements and how to work within them day-to-day. • Act as the point of contact for audits and technical reviews on engineering-related topics, representing the team's compliance posture to auditors and Notified Body reviewers. • Drive resolution of audit findings and deficiencies affecting engineering. • Assess the engineering impact of Design Changes before they are implemented. • Identify and drive adoption of tooling the team is missing to work compliantly — both inside the QMS and on the engineering side. You bring: • Knowledge of medical devices or another regulated industry (pharma, biotech, IVD). Experience in, or eagerness to learn, computer system validation and/or process validation, including risk-based scoping of validation effort, is a plus. • Working knowledge of MDR, ISO 13485, IEC 62304 and IEC 82304-1 as they apply to software. • Familiarity with software engineering, and enough depth in our stack (React, Python, PHP, Go; AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, ArgoCD) to review pipelines, tests and release processes with engineers as a peer. • Experience representing validation documentation and rationale to auditors and inspectors. • Experience assessing the engineering/technical impact of Design Changes within a regulated development process. • Excellent written and spoken English You enjoy: • Working closely with engineers, Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs — able to challenge and be challenged on technical detail. • Strong communication and training skills, with the ability to explain complex validation requirements to cross-functional stakeholders …
