Lead Coding Architect

Description

As AI Coding Architect at SQUER it’s your job to plan and coordinate the AI-enhanced development of new digital initiatives of our clients and by doing so you are a big part of the success of a project. In the process you will have the opportunity to independently create architectures as well as use and try out up-to-date, customized technologies.

Your tasks

• Being part of SQUER means being a Thought Leader and actively shaping SQUER as well as projects by openly communicating and being a team player .
• Lead our clients in their AI adoption , develop their AI vision and target picture, and translate both into a concrete, prioritised transformation roadmap.
• You will support several teams by solving great challenges of both frontend and backend development.
• You will be responsible for introducing or improving the  AI-usage in the SDLC accross the engineering teams of our clients and successfully deliver software solutions together.
• You are actively involved in all phases of software development in an interdisciplinary manner and are happy to share your knowledge with your colleagues as a sparring partner and coach .
• You are an active member of mostly agile SCRUM teams and spread SQUER culture  with the aim of constant improvement.

Your qualifications

• You are a rolemodel in the usage of AI-powered tools  (e.g., code assistants, LLM-based workflows) to amplify your productivity and quality and you are proficient in guiding teams in their AI adoption.
• Your experience and big-picture-thinking allows you to   create solutions that generate a sustainable impact for our clients.
• You have several years of experience  within software architecture, cloud-native development and containerization (Docker or Kubernetes). You would like to deepen your knowledge in this field.
• You have solid knowledge of frontend and backend development  and relevant trends within this area excite you.
• You have a hands-on mentality  and are proficient in one or more programming languages in the Java ( Java, Kotlin, Scala, Clojure, ...), Javascript (Javascript, Typescript) or cloud-native environment (Rust, Go, ...).
• You continously improve the AI-adoption along the entire SDLC , resolve bottlenecks and and feel passionate about enabling software teams in all their disciplines.
• Trainings and development of your skills are highly important to you. Moreover, you enjoy passing on acquired knowledge .
• You are fluent in English and Germa n (written and spoken) in order to communicate  in the best way possible with colleagues and partners.

We believe in transparent and fair compensation. For this role, the annual gross salary ranges between € 81.000 and € 103.000 – the exact placement depends on the seniority level we assess together during the process.
