The Role
Hybrid Working Requirement: Candidates should be flexible to attend our Marousi, Athens office 3 times per week. Please note that travel or commuting expenses will not be covered for candidates residing outside Attiki or outside a reasonable commuting distance.
As we continue to grow internationally, we're looking for an analytical and commercially minded FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team in Athens.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a few years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, who wants to develop their career in a growing international technology business.
As an FP&A Analyst, you will support the Finance team across budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and business performance analysis. You'll work closely with Finance and stakeholders across the business to turn financial data into clear insights that support better decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Support the annual budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
- Prepare monthly management reporting and financial performance analysis to share with business partners.
- Analyze bookings, revenues and costs to understand trends, risks and opportunities.
- Perform variance analysis against budget, forecast and prior-year results, identifying key drivers and trends.
- Build and maintain financial models, forecasts and planning templates.
- Monitor departmental spend, operating expenses and key financial & SaaS KPIs.
- Contribute to regular and ad-hoc reports and presentations for CFO and ELT.
- Work with teams across the organisation to collect, validate and analyse financial and operational data.
- Help business stakeholders understand financial performance, investment initiatives and impact of strategic projects to support their decisions.
- Contribute to improving reporting processes, financial models and automation using AI capabilities.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data and reporting.
- Take on ad-hoc analysis and projects as required.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, finance business partnering or a similar analytical finance role, ideally in B2B Enterprise SaaS company
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field, or practical knowledge of IFRS / S GAAP principles
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial models and large datasets.
- Ability to analyse variances, identify trends and understand the drivers behind financial performance.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- A proactive, curious and hands-on approach to problem solving.
Nice to Have
- Experience in a PE / VC backed and international company.
- Experience with ERP, FP&A, BI or financial reporting tools.
- Experience building dashboards or automating financial reporting.
- Familiarity with SaaS metrics and recurring-revenue business models.
