M

About the Team Our engineering team builds next-generation, cloud-native bare-metal orchestration platforms for AI neo-cloud environments. We operate on a T-shaped engineering model: while each engineer brings deep expertise in a primary domain, every team member maintains practical fluency across neighboring systems. This shared foundation enables rigorous design reviews, effective cross-domain code reviews, and dependable on-call coverage. Our development is fundamentally based on open-source projects, and contributing to them is a major part of our work. We develop primary control plane software in Rust and Go, leverage Kubernetes operators, and foster an OpenTelemetry-first operational culture. Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer who combines strong software architecture principles with understanding of Datacenter Networking and DPU architectures. Fitting into our T-shaped engineering model, you will drive the development of control planes powering high-density, high-throughput infrastructure for AI training and inference workloads. Familiarity with automated bare-metal provisioning and lifecycle management is a strong asset. Core Responsibilities • Control Plane Development: Design, build, and maintain production-grade control plane microservices, custom Kubernetes operators, and robust reconciliation engines in Rust and Go. • Architecture & API Design: Author clear Functional (FR) and Non-Functional Requirements (NFR), architectural specs, system sequence diagrams, and clean gRPC/Protobuf and REST API schemas. • Network Integration: Develop custom integration modules and integrations for modern network operating systems (SONiC, NVUE, Cumulus) and DPU hardware platforms. • Observability & Diagnostics: Instrument services end-to-end using OpenTelemetry (OTel) traces and metrics, performing systematic root-cause analysis across polyglot distributed systems. • Quality & Engineering Excellence: Participate in rigorous, review-gated pull request workflows across Rust, Go, and SQL codebases while ensuring high test coverage via mock-driven testing. Required: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. • 5+ years of software engineering experience in cloud-native platforms or systems programming • Primary mastery of Rust (Tokio async runtime, Tonic, Axum, sqlx) and proficiency in Go (secondary). • Concurrency & Reliability: Strong background in async concurrency models, lock-free patterns, distributed state handling, and mock-driven testing discipline. • APIs & Serialization: gRPC/Protobuf contract design (via tonic/prost) and schema evolution (using zero-copy serialization and compile-time type generation). • Kubernetes Control Planes: Experience writing custom controllers/operators using kube-rs with CRD-driven reconciliation loop patterns. • Testing Discipline: Commitment to test-driven design, writing highly testable code with mock interfaces for external service dependencies. • Collaborative Architecture: Proven track record of writing crisp architectural specs and engaging in constructive, cross-functional design reviews. Desired: • Advanced SQL / PostgreSQL fluency • Datacenter Protocols & OS: Expertise in BGP, MP-BGP, EVPN, VXLAN, L3VNI, route targets, and route server design. Hands-on experience with SONiC, Cumulus Linux, and NVUE (featuring a first-class NVUE client). • DPU & Fabric Ecosystem: Deep knowledge of NVIDIA DOCA, Host-Based Networking (HBN), BlueField DPU architectures, and the DPF (DOCA Platform Framework) operator model (BFB, DPUSet, DPUNode CRDs). • High-Performance Interconnects: Understanding of InfiniBand fabrics, NVLink / NMX-M partitioning, and RoCEv2. • Linux Kernel Networking: Advanced grasp of Linux netlink, network namespaces, routing tables, and internal DHCP/DNS service implementations (the project ships its own services). • Cloud & Kubernetes Networking: Familiarity with CNI plugins (Calico, Cilium). OVS and DPDK experience is a plus. • Provisioning & Boot Infrastructure: Expertise in PXE/iPXE, UEFI, Secure Boot, measured boot, and TPM attestation. • Hardware Management: Proficiency in Redfish, IPMI, and BMC abstractions across heterogeneous hardware platforms (Dell, Lenovo, NVIDIA reference hardware). • Linux Systems Internals: In-depth knowledge of boot chains, systemd, initramfs, BIOS configuration matrices. • Identity & Security: Practical experience with PKI, X.509 certificates, TLS, SPIFFE/SVID, Vault, KMS, Keycloak (OAuth2/JWT), and RBAC. • Virtualization: Experience with KubeVirt / KVM. • Kubernetes Control Planes: Experience writing custom controllers/operators using kube-rs or controller-runtime with CRD-driven reconciliation loop patterns. • Demonstrated participation or maintaining open-source systems projects What does Mirantis offer you? • Work with an established Silicon Valley leader in the cloud infrastructure industry; …

Junior IT Administrator, EMEA

À distance ✓EN
D

ABOUT DASH0 Join Dash0 and help us define the future of observability. We are OpenTelemetry-native, building a delightful, simple, and AI-centric platform that eliminates vendor lock-in and meaningless toil. Shape a product that developers love—all with transparent pricing and cost-control built in. Dash0 is an OpenTelemetry-native observability platform growing fast, and the infrastructure that keeps our team operational needs to be as reliable as the product we build. As our Junior IT Administrator, you'll own the full device and access lifecycle — from a new hire's first laptop to an employee's final offboarding — and build the systems that make it repeatable at scale. This role exists because we've outgrown ad-hoc IT. We need someone who takes genuine ownership: provisioning accounts, enforcing endpoint security, maintaining audit-ready records, and keeping our SaaS stack under control. You'll work closely with our Head of Security and People Ops team, but the systems work is yours to run. It's a foundational role with real scope. The processes you put in place today will scale with the company for years. WHAT YOU'LL DO • Provision and de-provision accounts across our SaaS stack for every new hire and departure, keeping onboarding repeatable and offboarding complete. • Manage the full device lifecycle: hardware ordering, MDM enrollment, international logistics, maintenance, and responsible recycling at end-of-life. • Enforce endpoint security policies, including disk encryption, activation lock, and device compliance checks, coordinating with our Head of Security to keep standards current. • Maintain accurate, audit-ready records of who has access to what — catching and resolving discrepancies in serial numbers, license counts, and access logs before they become compliance issues. • Execute end-to-end offboarding by revoking access across all systems, coordinating hardware retrieval, and ensuring nothing slips through. • Manage vendor relationships and contracts for IT services and hardware insurance, including invoice auditing and service forecasting. • Support employees across time zones with clear, prompt communication on IT issues, hardware needs, and access requests. WHAT YOU BRING • 0–2 years of experience in IT support, IT operations, systems administration, or a technical helpdesk role. • Hands-on comfort with device management tools and the Google Workspace admin console, including user and group management. • A working understanding of endpoint security concepts — disk encryption, activation lock, device compliance policies, and why they matter in a security-conscious environment. • Strong attention to detail: you notice when a serial number, license count, or access log doesn't add up, and you follow through until it does. • Clear written English and ease coordinating across time zones with employees, vendors, and internal teams. • The ability to manage many concurrent tickets and threads without losing track of any of them — you're organized and self-directed. NICE TO HAVE • Hands-on experience with a specific MDM platform such as Jamf, Kandji, Fleet, or Intune. • Exposure to SOC 2 or ISO 27001-style access review and audit processes. • Basic scripting skills for automating repetitive provisioning or reporting tasks. • Experience in a high-growth startup environment. The AI orchestration of your wildest imagination. n8n is the open workflow orchestration platform built for the new era of AI. We give technical teams the freedom of code with the speed of no-code, so they can automate faster, smarter, and without limits. Backed by a fiercely inventive community and 500+ builder-approved integrations, we’re changing the way people bring systems together and scale ideas for impact. Since our founding in 2019, we’ve grown into a diverse team of over 260 - working across Europe and the US, connected by a shared builder spirit and with our centre of gravity in Berlin. Along the way, we’ve: • Cultivated a community of more than 650,000 active developers and builders • Earned 190K+ GitHub stars, making us one of the world’s Top 40 most popular projects • Backed by top investors, from Sequoia’s first German seed to our SAP's recent strategic investment - bringing us to a $5.2bn valuation That’s the company we’ve built. Now we’d love to see what you can build. If you’re applying, try n8n out - whether you’re technical or not - and share a screenshot of your first workflow with us. The easiest place to start is here: app.n8n.cloud/register http://app.n8n.cloud/register. We’re in a defining moment of an incredible journey. Come and build with us. Your main goal will be to turn n8n's pricing and packaging into a deliberate, data-informed growth lever - one that scales revenue and adoption across our entire go-to-market, from our 1.5 million-strong community to global Enterprise accounts. To do so, here's what you'll own: BUILD THE ANALYTICAL FOUNDATION FOR PRICING • Build and own the model connecting unit economics, agent run cost, willingness-to-pay, gross margin, and customer value. • Maintain competitive and market intelligence so our pricing keeps pace with a category that's shifting fast. • Run pricing experiments and turn the results into documented, reusable learnings. DESIGN OUR PRICING & PACKAGING ARCHITECTURE • Shape plan design and packaging across our community, self-serve, and Enterprise tiers, plus add-ons like our startup and charity plans. • Design pricing for new SKUs and consumption-based models as our product and cost-to-serve evolve around AI Assistant and n8n Connect. • Build packaging frameworks and decision tools that product teams use directly to launch new features. DRIVE AND ROLL OUT PRICING DECISIONS • Lead cross-functional pricing decision-making and secure buy-in across Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, RevOps, and Data. • Own the rollout of major pricing changes end-to-end, from decision to launch to measured impact. • Build and own our pricing frameworks: list pricing, discount guardrails, decision rubrics, grandfathering rules, and usage-based billing decisions. Requirements Must-have • Pricing leadership in B2B SaaS: You have 6+ years in pricing, monetisation, or commercial strategy, including at least one full cycle leading a major pricing model transition — subscription to consumption, seat-based to usage-based, or a platform repricing. • Hands-on with modern pricing models: You've personally designed and rolled out consumption-based, outcome-based, or AI-native pricing at a company past $100M ARR. • Both self-serve and Enterprise motions: You've owned pricing on both sides of the funnel — self-serve/PLG (activation, conversion, tier design, funnel experimentation) and Enterprise, sales-led (packaging for large accounts, deal economics, discount governance). n8n monetises both, so fluency in one motion only isn't enough. • Deep analytical rigour: You build the financial model yourself and reason fluently about unit economics, cost-to-serve, gross margin, willingness-to-pay, and elasticity. • Billing fluency, technical and operational: You understand event metering, rating, entitlements, proration, overage, and revenue recognition well enough to design pricing that's actually operable — and you've partnered with a Billing function on invoicing, dunning, true-ups, and disputes. • Empathy for technical users and buyers: You understand where, how, and why developers and technical buyers assign value across a product experience. • Frameworks over bottlenecks: You've built packaging frameworks and decision tools that product teams use independently, rather than routing every pricing decision through you. • Cross-functional influence: You bring Product, Finance, Sales, Customer Success, Engineering, and Billing into alignment on contentious commercial decisions. • Motivated by scope, not headcount: You're energised by owning a global, high-stakes topic as an individual contributor, with analytical support from Data and RevOps and rollout support from Program Management. Nice-to-have • Formal pricing training: You've been trained at Simon-Kucher or the pricing practice of another consultancy, and you bring that rigour with you. • ‍ Developer tools …
