Security Engineer - Node.js Proactive Defense (remote work)

À distance ✓EN
C

CloudLinux is a global remote-first company. We are driven by our principles: do the right thing, employees first, we are remote first, and we deliver high-volume, low-cost Linux infrastructure and security products that help companies to increase the efficiency of their operations. Every person on our team supports each other and does what we can to ensure we all are successful. Check out our website for more information https://cloudlinux.com/ Imunify360 Security Suite is a product of CloudLinux Inc., the maker of the #1 OS in security and stability for hosting providers. Imunify is an innovative security solution designed specifically for shared and VPS/Dedicated servers. The automated, easy-to-use solution with the six-layer approach to security delivers comprehensive and complete attack prevention. The mission We protect web hosting providers and the sites running on their infrastructure through a defense-in-depth stack: web-server-layer WAF, runtime application self-protection for PHP, deep application integrations (WordPress plugins and similar), a malware scanner with cleanup capability, and network-layer firewalls and IP reputation. The pieces talk to each other, and the threat intelligence they generate at scale powers detection across the stack. Node.js is the segment of the hosting market growing fastest, and the next layer we want to build for it is runtime protection inside the Node.js process itself. Most Node.js workloads on managed hosting today are AI-generated web apps deployed by non-technical owners who can't, won't, and shouldn't be expected to patch their own code or audit their own dependencies. We're going to defend those apps anyway — at runtime, without their cooperation, without breaking them. You'll build that runtime protection layer end-to-end. What you'll own • The product. A brand-new product line, yours to define — what we intercept, what we don't, what the customer-visible surface looks like. • The technical approach. Instrumentation strategy, deployment shape, programming language — all open. You'll consult with our architects but the direction is yours. • Implementation, end to end. You'll have the full tooling stack we provide — LLM subscriptions, modern dev infrastructure, the works. Use what makes you fast. • Methodology. How you build conviction in your detection logic — your call. • Cross-layer signal. Our existing stack produces threat intelligence at unmatched scale: tens of millions of monitored sites, petabyte-scale malware sample storage, real-time domain and URL reputation, IP-level attack feeds. These are available for you to plug into. Use what helps. How we'll measure success The product is held to four numbers: runtime overhead, false positives, false negatives, and customer-escalation volume. They reflect what hosting providers and their customers care about. Hit them well and the product runs inside a meaningful slice of the modern Node.js web. What we're looking for An experienced researcher or engineer who can build and iterate on a brand-new product, driving both the research and the development. The hard part of this work is knowing what's malicious, what's vulnerable, and what's just an unusual but legitimate pattern — and being right about it across the long tail of frameworks, libraries, and customer code we'll encounter in production. Requirements Must have: • Proven experience building and shipping a new product, security solution, major feature, or technical system from scratch. • Strong evidence of end-to-end technical ownership, from initial investigation and architecture through implementation, release, and production iteration. • Strong web application security knowledge and current knowledge of practical exploitation. • A working sense of how detection rules behave at scale — what catches attackers without flagging the long tail of legitimate code. • Ability to start as the PM, architect, lead engineer, and QA for this product. You ask for resources or help when you need them; you don't wait to be told what to do. • Comfort directing AI coding agents to high-quality output. Nice to have: • Prior work on runtime-protection products, application firewalls, or instrumentation tooling. • Background in malware analysis or incident response. • Familiarity with managed-hosting environments. • Public security research, vulnerability disclosures, or detection rulesets you've authored. • Familiarity with the Node.js runtime and the JavaScript ecosystem. What it's not • Not a scope-and-handoff role — you drive the work and own the outcome. • Not a "platform team will productize this later" role — you ship to real customer fleets and watch the telemetry quickly. • Not a spec-and-review role — you are hands-on every day. Why this matters • Most managed-hosting customers are not developers. They cannot patch their apps. They cannot audit their dependencies. They will keep deploying vulnerable code from AI assistants …

Data Engineer - fully remote (working hours 5am-2pm CEST) (m/f/d)

À distance ✓EN
J

What it's all about The Team: We are building the analytical backbone of a company that believes decisions should be powered by clarity, not guesswork. Our Business Intelligence team builds on top of a data platform that has to be there every morning - healthy, current, and trusted. Making that happen takes a core data engineer who owns the operational reliability of our platform end-to-end. Someone the rest of the team can count on to keep the lights on, catch issues before they become incidents, and push the platform forward with us rather than just holding it in place. Your Role: This is a core data engineering role. You own the operational health of our data platform, and you keep making it better. Your working hours - 5 am-2pm CEST - put you in a timezone that naturally overlaps with our overnight processing window. That means overnight maintenance, failed jobs, and quality incidents land inside your normal working day, not at 5am in your bed. You catch them, fix them, and hand over a healthy platform before the European team logs on. We're looking for someone experienced enough to operate independently. You don't need a ticket telling you something is broken - you can read logs, trace through SQL and Python, and figure out what happened. You care about data quality as a craft, and you have the confidence to walk up to a data owner and say "this feed is wrong, here's why, and here's what we should do about it." This isn't a greenfield architecture role. The platform exists, but it is a long way from finished. Roughly half the job is keeping it healthy; the other half is leaving it better than you found it - new source domains modelled properly, quality gates where there are none today, slow queries made fast. Keeping the lights on is the floor here, not the ceiling. How We Work: A large share of what we build is AI-assisted, and some of it is AI-generated. Claude Code, MCP servers, and LLM tooling are part of the daily toolchain across BI, internal tooling, and data pre-processing. Everything lives in Git, ships through GitLab CI/CD, and gets reviewed. That only works because someone puts the rigour in behind it. Generated SQL still has to survive an execution plan. A pipeline an agent wrote still has to be correct at 4am when a source system quietly changes shape. This role is that layer: you will use these tools heavily, and you will be the person who checks what comes out of them - reading the query instead of trusting it, validating numbers against the source, catching the plausible-looking answer that is wrong. So we need someone fluent with AI tooling and unwilling to take its output on faith. Those two things aren't in tension here. Together they are the job. What You'll Be Doing Keep it running: • Monitor overnight processing, resolve failures, and hand a healthy platform to the European team each morning - you are the BI team's first line of operational defense during their off-hours • Keep the orchestration layer healthy: Airflow DAGs and the Python jobs behind them across Windows and Linux VMs - failed tasks, backfills, and dependencies that match how the data actually flows • Investigate and fix recurring issues in our on-prem Microsoft SQL Server environment, including cross-system access through linked servers, OPENQUERY, and PolyBase • Hunt down data quality gaps - stale feeds, broken joins, silently-changing source systems - and drive them to resolution with the data owner Keep making it better: • Extend the platform as the business grows: model new source domains into the warehouse and build data models analysts can use without needing a translator • Build automated data quality gates - freshness, volume, referential integrity, business rules - so bad data fails loudly at the door instead of surfacing in a dashboard three days later • Tune slow SQL - queries, stored procedures, indexes, execution plans - so the platform gets faster, not slower, as the company grows • Turn recurring fixes into permanent ones through better alerting, logging, runbooks, and automation, so the same incident stops coming back • Be the last check on AI-assisted work before it reaches production - review generated SQL and pipeline code, and build the tests that let the rest of the team move fast on top of it What You'll Need • 3+ years of core data engineering experience in a production environment • Microsoft SQL Server professional - stellar T-SQL plus real optimization depth (indexing strategies, execution plans, query tuning, partitioning), the instinct for which of those a slow query actually needs, and comfort reaching across system boundaries with linked servers, OPENQUERY, and PolyBase • Data modelling judgment - you can design warehouse tables and dimensional models that hold up as sources change and analysts ask new questions, and you know where to put a quality gate so it catches problems instead of generating noise • Strong Python and production Airflow - in-depth Python …

What success looks like • Participate in and lead the entire biosignal-based algorithm development lifecycle for medical devices including specifications and requirements gathering, data curation and labeling, development, failure-analysis, production, maintenance, and documentation. • Select, implement, and develop the most appropriate method for each problem, knowing when to apply deep learning techniques and when other methods are more effective. • Enhance our internal deep learning and machine learning tools to boost team efficiency, introduce new model architectures and algorithmic techniques, and refine the codebase to encourage reusability where needed to enable rapid experimentation. • Spread and improve our best practices to ensure algorithm implementations are user-friendly, well-documented, and thoroughly tested, including unit tests, comprehensive documentation, CI, and non-regression testing. • Present results to key stakeholders and assist them in utilizing algorithms for client engagement. • Support the client-facing projects to understand and shape the impact Beacon algorithms have for our customers, both for existing deployed algorithms, and future algorithm development. What you will bring • You have more than 4 years of industry experience in machine learning and deep learning, particularly in health sciences or other regulated fields, with a proven track record of bringing algorithms into production. • You are experienced with digital signal processing (DSP) and statistics and care about using the right tool for the job, which in many cases might not be machine learning or deep learning. • You are proficient in using PyTorch (preferred) or other deep learning frameworks for training, developing, and deploying deep learning models. • You are familiar with latest Deep Learning advances (Transformer/ViT, large scale modeling, large model training, ...) • You follow and adopt best practices in software and ML engineering, including testing, version control, code reviews, documentation, Dockerization, CI/CD, and experiment tracking. • You are familiar with biosignals, medical imaging data, or large time-series datasets, or are enthusiastic about learning more in the domain. • You thrive in a team environment, recognizing that collaboration, open communication, and continuous feedback are essential for collective success. • You are able to distill, discuss, and present complex technical topics in a way that is appropriate for the audience at hand, both internally and externally. • You are excited to participate in the entire algorithm development lifecycle, which spans scoping, data wrangling, algorithm development/experimentation, formal validation, quality/regulatory documentation, production deployment, and working with clients who might benefit from these algorithms. The base salary range for this role is determined based on past experience, specific skills and qualifications. The base salary is one component of the total compensation package, which includes equity, PTO and other benefits. At Beacon, we've found that cultural and scientific impact is driven most by those that lead by example. About Fundraise Up We’re Fundraise Up - a global fundraising platform built to make donating to nonprofits fast, seamless, and accessible to all. Every month, our technology powers tens of millions of dollars in donations across the globe. We focus on innovation that directly impacts results: faster load times, higher conversion rates, global payment support, and accessibility-first design. Our platform is trusted by many of the world’s leading nonprofits, including UNICEF, the Alzheimer’s Association, and a wide range of global NGOs. With a 4.9/5 rating across top software review platforms, we’re recognized not just for our impact - but for the quality of the product we deliver. About The Role Great products earn three different stories: the one that wins today's market, the one that opens tomorrow's, and the one that proves the architecture underneath both is right. We're hiring two Product Marketing Managers for our product-facing team, reporting to the Director of Product Marketing (Product). This function owns positioning IP for what we build, while GTM Product Marketing activates it in market. We're growing the team across two focus areas, and we'll match you to the one where your background and interests are the strongest fit. • Core Markets. Our established product lines and the verticals that generate the bulk of Fundraise Up's ARR, including existing nonprofit segments and cause and cure organizations. • Platform & Core Products. The foundation everything else is built on: our core donation experience (checkout, campaign pages, donor portal, elements, donor documentation), the platform surface beneath it (APIs, integrations, developer experience, payment methods, localization, billing, dashboard, exports), and the experimentation engine that keeps it all improving. Each track owns its own positioning IP and works the same way day to day, but the buyer, the maturity of the product, and the technical depth required differ. Let us know in your application which focus area is the strongest match for your background; we'll route accordingly during the interview process. You are expected to be able to take a customer call about your product area without a solutions engineer in the room, at the depth of our public documentation. Our product is complex and deliberately opinionated. Several of our differentiators are architectural, and you'll be expected to explain why the system works the way it does and turn that reasoning into a case customers find compelling. For Platform & Core Products, that extends to holding your own with technical evaluators in RevOps, IT, and data teams. Key Responsibilities • Run the Early Access Program for your focus area, coordinating with Sales and CS to identify and support customers and design partners on early releases. • Be an expert at capturing specific customer requirements from the field that Product Managers can incorporate into the roadmap. • Define and continuously evolve product positioning and messaging for your focus area, across relevant personas. • Transform complex product capabilities into clear, benefit-driven narratives, and build deep expertise in your product area. • Partner closely with Product, and with Engineering or Data Science where relevant, to determine product market fit, TAM, and opportunity cost of decisions. • Build and lead launch strategies for your focus area, in partnership with the Director. • Deliver content to GTM teams, including Demand Gen and RevOps, to drive awareness, adoption, and revenue impact. • Own product-vs-product and roadmap-vs-roadmap competitive intelligence for your focus area. • Act as an ambassador for your focus area at conferences, in web content, and in customer-facing material. • Contribute to packaging, licensing, and bundling strategy for your focus area. • At Fundraise Up, AI is a default tool, not an experimental one. We expect every team member to actively use AI in their day-to-day work, identify where AI can change the shape of problems in their function, and grow their fluency as the tools evolve. Skills and Qualifications • 4+ years in B2B SaaS product marketing, owning end-to-end product positioning and launches. • Product depth strong enough to take a customer call in your product area without a solutions engineer in the room. • Strong writing and storytelling ability paired with a strategic mind. • Comfortable working cross-functionally in fast-moving, high-growth environments, and confident leading conversations with Product, Sales, and Executive teams. • Solid grasp of marketing funnels, sales cycles, and customer journeys. • Deeply curious, data-driven, and motivated by purpose-driven work. • Able to travel internationally without restriction. Roughly 25% travel to the US and Europe for conferences, offsites, and industry events; you must be able to obtain the necessary authorizations. Nice to Have • Experience in nonprofit tech, fintech, or growth-stage startups. …

What you bring • You can demonstrate a strong track record of growing existing accounts, owning renewals, driving net-new expansion bookings, and cross-selling or upselling across multiple product lines (e.g. EOR, Global Payroll, COR, and other Remote solutions) • You can show success building and multi-threading relationships across an account — engaging economic buyers, budget holders, and technical/functional stakeholders in parallel, rather than relying on a single point of contact • You're comfortable selling to and building trust with senior stakeholders (VP/C-level, Legal, Finance, HR/People leadership), and can adapt the conversation to what matters to each • You have working knowledge of, or a strong aptitude to quickly learn, a structured sales methodology such as MEDPICC to qualify and progress opportunities with rigor • You can demonstrate strong sales process discipline, including pipeline development, forecasting, and accurate reporting across a multi-product portfolio • You bring a solutions-oriented mindset — quick to focus on what can be done and how to move a deal or relationship forward • You think like a deal strategist — you look for creative ways to structure multi-product deals and adapt the structure to what the customer actually needs • You're highly self-directed and comfortable navigating with a lot of autonomy — Remote is a distributed, async, multi-timezone environment, and you take ownership of your own follow-ups, keeping things moving smoothly across time zones and channels • You're genuinely curious and eager to learn, comfortable picking up new products, markets, and use cases as Remote's portfolio evolves • You have an in-depth understanding of Remote's services and its position in the industry, with the curiosity to keep that knowledge current • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with business fluency in English Desirable characteristics • Highly self-motivated, with ambitions to grow into a closing-focused role • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and juggling multiple concurrent, multi-threaded deals without losing momentum • Strong business acumen, able to speak credibly to commercial, legal, and HR stakeholders alike • High level of integrity and work ethic • Experience selling into HR, People, or Total Rewards buyers — not a dealbreaker, but a plus at this seniority • Background navigating more complex, non-standard contracting models (e.g., Employer of Record or similar) — this isn't a straightforward SaaS license sale Key Responsibilities • Meet and exceed sales quota based on role level, managing the entire sales cycle — including renewals — across Remote's product portfolio (EOR, Payroll, COR, and beyond) • Provide support and coaching to the wider team as a Senior Account Manager, sharing best practice on multi-product deals, stakeholder mapping, and MEDPICC-based qualification • Identify new expansion, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities across products and progress them through the full sales cycle • Multi-thread accounts proactively — building relationships with multiple stakeholders (economic buyers, champions, influencers) rather than relying on a single contact • Present Remote's full suite of services to existing …

Technical Program Manager

SoSafe has the ambition to become the leading human risk management provider in Europe. Our award-winning awareness platform triggers behavioural change by providing effective and engaging training and simulations on cybersecurity and data protection. Cybercrime is costing the world >$10 trillion annually and growing by 15% p.a. - we invite you to be part of the solution! ABOUT THE ROLE Platform work at SoSafe carries outsized leverage. One well-run migration touches a dozen services at once. One adopted shared library saves every team that builds on it from solving the same problem twice. One monitoring signal catches a problem before a customer ever sees it. The work often goes unnoticed when it's going well, but its absence is felt across half of Product Development within a week. We're hiring a Technical Program Manager to embed into one of our platform teams and bring order to that complexity. You'll partner closely with the Product Manager, Engineering Manager, and their Tech Leads to drive the when and how of the roadmap: sequencing the work, surfacing risk early, holding cross-team commitments together, and making sure what ships lands cleanly across every team that depends on it. This role owns program outcomes, not status reports. You'll think in systems, work in mechanisms, and earn trust by removing friction the team didn't know was costing them time. HERE'S HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE • Own end-to-end delivery for programs that touch a dozen services at once: an architecture migration, a compliance remediation, a legacy system sunset. • Partner with Product Management and GTM stakeholders on platform changes with customer-facing impact, keeping rollouts, communications, and external commitments in lockstep with engineering delivery. • Drive adoption of shared platform capabilities that other teams are supposed to build on, closing the gap between "we shipped it" and teams actually using it. • Manage multi-team migrations where downstream consumers, external commitments, and legacy constraints all need to land in the right order. A missed dependency here costs months, not days. • Run the mechanics that keep a dozen concurrent programs honest: dependency maps, risk logs, decision records, and the recurring check-ins nobody wants to run but everybody needs. • Bring rigor to how delivery health gets measured, incident counts, adoption rates, time-to-land, and use it to drive change instead of producing another report. WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT • You've run complex, cross-functional technical programs and can point to ones where the technical decisions were yours to shape, not just to track. • You hold your own in deep engineering conversations. You don't need to write the code, but you need to understand what's being argued about and why it matters. • You bring structure to ambiguity without over-engineering it. Your default is the lightest mechanism that solves the problem. • You've worked where the consumers of your output are other engineering teams, whether that's infrastructure, data pipelines, or internal APIs. • You've managed a migration or sunset with real downstream impact, and you know how to land it without breaking trust. • You communicate directly. Short sentences, clear asks, no filler. You write decisions down and make sure the right people see them. • You're comfortable in Jira, Confluence, and the rest of a modern engineering toolchain, and you have opinions about how they should be used. Nice to have • Background in infrastructure, data engineering, or applied AI/ML platforms. • Experience inside a SaaS company through a phase of platform consolidation or modernization. • Familiarity with SLOs or monitoring practice as a delivery signal, not just an SRE artifact. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE • 3 months. You're embedded with the team's engineering leadership, have a clear read on every active program, and have started reshaping how the group plans, tracks, and communicates delivery. • 6 months. You're the trusted operating partner for the group. Initiatives that were drifting are landing predictably, and the cross-team dependencies that used to surprise us are surfacing weeks earlier. • 12 months. The team is delivering with a rhythm other groups want to copy. The mechanisms you built are running themselves, and you're picking the next compounding problem to solve. What we offer* • Work/Life balance: Flexible hours, 33 vacation days • Wellbeing and financial support: Access to Open Up, corporate discounts • Connection & community: Virtual events, collaborative team activities, and opportunities for local meet-ups • And the list goes on: Tech equipment, referral bonuses, dog-friendly HQ *Perks and benefits listed above are for full-time employees and may vary slightly by office location. These are just a sample — you'll learn more during the interview process. About Us At SoSafe, we’re on a …
