Senior Software Engineer (Elixir)

À distance ✓EN

Running a frontline business is an operational puzzle most software has never touched. Shift-by-shift labour costs, compliance that changes by region and by role, and margins thin enough that a badly built rota can sink a quarter. It's a harder problem than most white-collar SaaS, and yet frontline sectors employ 80% of the global workforce and have received about 1% of the last decade's software investment. We think that's because the problem needed AI, not just better software, before it was solvable. Frontline organisations sit on enormous amounts of operational data. Used properly, that data lets agents take on real parts of running the business rather than just reporting on it. That's what we're building at Sona, and it's early enough that the systems you build now will still be foundational in three years. We've raised over $100M from N47, Felicis, Gradient and Northzone, signed more than 100 enterprise customers across the UK and US, and opened offices in London, New York, Austin and Lisbon. More on working at Sona here https://www.sona.ai/careers. About the Role We're hiring Senior Software Engineers to join our product teams and help build the next generation of workforce management. This isn't a traditional engineering role - at Sona, engineers are deeply embedded in the product development process, working directly with customers to understand their pain points and turning those insights into shipped solutions. AI tooling is central to how we work. Coding agents produce the majority of our code, and your job is to direct, correct, and architect - not type every line yourself. You'll use tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or similar as a core part of your daily workflow, and we'll assess that proficiency as part of the interview process. To do that well, you need strong Elixir expertise - enough to know when an agent's output is wrong and how to fix it. Day to day, you'll work within a cross-functional product team with significant autonomy over how to reach outcomes. You'll participate in defining features and scope from PR FAQs and kick-off conversations rather than picking up fully specified tickets. You'll also have the opportunity to rotate across different product domains throughout the year - scheduling, payroll, HR, staff engagement - giving you breadth that most engineering roles don't offer. This role is remote-first for anyone based in a European timezone, with quarterly in-person team alignment sessions and client workshops in London. It's not a fully isolated remote setup - you'll need flexibility to travel for the moments that matter. Responsibilities • Own features end-to-end across Sona's platform, from scoping through to delivery, including in the mobile app • Use AI development tooling as your primary workflow - directing and evaluating agent-produced code, not writing everything from scratch • Work directly with customers through workshops, feedback sessions, and discovery conversations to ensure what you build solves real problems • Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Product Designers to shape solutions from vague requirements and kick-off outputs • Contribute to multiple product domains across the year, building deep understanding of workforce management challenges • Participate in the product development process - challenging scope, suggesting approaches, and making pragmatic trade-offs between the ideal solution and the right one for now Requirements • You're a senior engineer who's comfortable owning features from scoping to production - not just executing against a spec • You have professional Elixir experience - enough to evaluate and correct agent-produced code in a production codebase • AI development tooling is already embedded in how you work, not something you've experimented with once or twice. You can articulate your workflows and demonstrate them under pressure • You care about understanding customer problems as much as solving technical ones, and you're comfortable being in front of customers directly • You communicate clearly and concisely - adapting for technical and non-technical audiences alike • You're pragmatic: you can let go of a strongly held opinion when the situation calls for it, and you make trade-offs consciously • Bonus: full-stack experience including React Native, background at a product-led engineering team or high-growth B2B SaaS company, or familiarity with HR/workforce management domains Benefits • Salary: £85-105k • Remote-first (Europe timezone) with quarterly in-person sessions and client workshops in London • Share options • 35 days annual leave (25 days standard plus 10 flexible public holiday days) • Extra day of leave for every year of service • Pension contributions matched up to 5% • Comprehensive health insurance • Enhanced parental leave & pay • Salary sacrifice childcare scheme (Workplace Nursery) • Co-working space stipend for …

More on working at Sona here https://www.sona.ai/careers. About the Role You'll join a two-person ML team and a forecasting system making half hourly demand predictions across diverse targets for multiple restaurant chains. Our forecasting models enter into a complex environment with key machine and human decisions being made on their predictions, facing feedback loops and a highly variable environment. The system works - the challenge now is scaling it from a handful of clients to 100s. You'll own client launches end-to-end: validating data, selecting models, running UAT, going live, and monitoring performance afterwards. You'll join client calls, build relationships, and understand what actually matters on the ground - not just whether the model is accurate, but whether the kitchen prepped the right amount of food. You'll love this role if: • You enjoy taking ownership of the product and outcome end-to-end. Machine learning at Sona is a success if we have happy clients running successful businesses as well as the models which are best in industry • You have a focus on solving the problem and when given the choice between "complicated and shiny" vs "get something simple in front of a user", you choose the latter • You're excited by working with our industry experts to really understand what's happening in our client's businesses and the realities of working there • You see beyond the data to the world that resulted in this data generating process, the issues that come with it and the opportunity that it gives us • You're experienced in and excited by taking a machine learning project from business idea to deployed production system • You default to AI tools for development and you're excited by what they can achieve for ML. You use Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent daily - not as a novelty, but as your standard working mode Our role won't be for you if: • You're hoping to do research and publish research papers as a key element of the work that you do • You're looking to move into a less technical, more managerial role • You're keen to get your hands on fancy new technology X and apply it to something • You prefer to work on one thing and make it perfect before moving on - the role requires pragmatism, parallelism, and iterative improvement Requirements You'll need these skills/experience to be successful: • Production ML experience, with a track record of deploying ML systems that handle messy data, fail gracefully, and need monitoring • Strong ML fundamentals - you can reason about trade-offs in practice, explain the "why" behind feature and model choices, and make good judgement calls when something unexpected happens • Client-facing deployment experience - you've personally owned an ML deployment end-to-end and are comfortable on calls with non-technical stakeholders • Strong programming skills in Python, including the ML/scientific Python stack (e.g. numpy, scikit-learn) • Daily use of AI development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot or equivalent) as your default working mode It would be great if you have experience in some of these areas too: • Forecasting, time-series, or demand-planning - someone who understands lag features, calendar effects, and evaluation integrity intuitively will ramp significantly faster • Our stack: Python, scikit-learn, MLflow, Docker, GCP • A small team where ownership is wide and context-switching is normal Benefits • Salary: £95,000-£110,000 • Fully remote (European timezones) • Share options • 35 days annual leave (25 days standard plus 10 flexible public holiday days) • Extra day of leave for every year of service • Pension contributions matched up to 5% • Comprehensive health insurance • Enhanced parental leave & pay • Salary sacrifice childcare scheme (Workplace Nursery) • Co-working space stipend for those based outside London • Annual all expenses …

Your mission At deskbird , you’re not joining a volume-driven outbound machine, you’re stepping into a company where your impact is visible from day one, your progression is tied to performance (not tenure), and your work directly shapes how we scale. We’re a leading workplace management platform, backed by $23M Series B funding and trusted by global brands. But what makes us different is how we operate: founder-led, fast-moving, and deeply focused on building a high-performance culture without the corporate politics. We are building a regionally aligned, revenue-driven GTM organization where each market owns its pipeline and ARR targets. The Demand Generation Manager for DACH (f/m/d) will own the end-to-end pipeline generation strategy and execution for the region. This role is responsible for: • Driving pipeline and revenue growth in DACH. • Leading all regional demand initiatives (ABM, field, campaigns). • Acting as the central orchestrator of GTM efforts in the region. This is a high-ownership, highly hands-on role combining strategy, execution, and cross-functional leadership. In this role you will 1. Own Regional Pipeline & ARR Targets • Own pipeline generation targets for DACH (in close alignment with Sales) • Be accountable for: Pipeline volume and quality & contribution to ARR. • Translate global strategy into a clear regional plan. 2. Lead Regional GTM Strategy & Execution • Define and execute the regional demand strategy across: ABM (mid-market / enterprise), field marketing (events, roundtables, local activations) & campaigns (integrated, multi-channel). • Ensure all activities are: ICP-focused, aligned with sales priorities & measurable in pipeline impact. 3. Act as the GTM Orchestrator for DACH • Work as one team with: Regional Sales & BDRs. • Align on: Target accounts, campaign priorities & pipeline gaps. 4. Execute Hands-On Across Channels • Plan and run events (from concept to execution). • Build and launch campaigns. • Write campaign messaging and landing page content. • Set up and manage campaign assets (with support where needed). • From strategy to execution - you are expected to operate end-to-end. 5. Drive ABM & Upmarket Motion • Partner with Sales and BDRs on: Target account selection & account-level strategies. • Execute: Personalized campaigns, account-specific activations & high-touch engagement strategies. 6. Measure & Optimize Performance • Track: Pipeline generated, conversion rates & campaign ROI. • Continuously optimize: Channel mix, messaging & execution. • Partner with GTM Ops to ensure: Clean tracking & clear attribution. What you need to be successful • Must be located in Germany • Native German + strong English • 5–8+ years in B2B SaaS demand generation / growth roles • Deep understanding of the DACH market • Strong experience in: Field marketing (events), ABM & campaign execution. • Experience working closely with sales teams. • High ownership (thinks like a GM of the region). • Strong executor (able to get things done independently) What Success Looks Like within 6–12 months: • Strong, predictable pipeline generation in the DACH • High alignment between marketing, BDR, and sales • Effective ABM and field motion driving upmarket growth • Measurable contribution to ARR • Clear visibility into what works and scales What’s in it for you? • Attractive OTE: Competitive base plus variable, and meaningful stock options. • Unlimited annual leave: Plenty of time off to recharge. • A nnual company summit: Meet the whole team at our yearly summit in inspiring locations across Europe (check out the video from our last summit). • Team “Bursts”: Opportunities to collaborate with your team in person. • Home office support: Financial contribution to set up a comfortable, productive home office. • Learning & development: Annual budget for coaching, certifications, and conferences.

Senior Security Infrastructure Engineer

À distance ✓EN
W

Wrike is the most powerful work management platform. Built for teams and organizations looking to collaborate, create, and exceed every day, Wrike brings everyone and all work into a single place to remove complexity, increase productivity, and free people up to focus on their most purposeful work. Wrike is our people, not a place. As a distributed team, we own our growth, stay globally connected, and rely on the product we build to deliver impactful work alongside brilliant minds. You'll have real ownership over meaningful work, a global team that has your back, and the flexibility to do your best work your way. If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you. Our vision: A world where everyone is free to focus on their most purposeful work, together. About the Role: You'll work alongside diverse, cross-border teams and supportive colleagues who share knowledge and want to see you succeed. Wrike is looking for a Sr. Security Infrastructure Engineer to own and evolve security for our production and cloud environments, with a strong focus on network and infrastructure security. You'll design and harden the controls that keep our world secure — and you'll be the person who spots the gap before it becomes an incident. Your Impact: • Own and evolve security for Wrike's production and cloud environments, with a strong focus on network and infrastructure security. • Design, implement, and improve network security controls, including: • Internal network segmentation and lateral-movement (east-west) restrictions • WAF operations and tuning • Egress filtering • Risk- and exposure-based sequencing of remediation work • Run structured first-pass security reviews of cloud environments, checking for: • Publicly exposed storage • Open management ports • Gaps in logging/audit trail coverage • Long-lived or stale credentials • Over-privileged principals and accounts • Maintain visibility into our external attack surface, including: • DNS enumeration and certificate transparency log monitoring • External scanning of IP ranges • Dedicated ASM tooling (e.g., Rapid7 Surface Command) • Continuous configuration drift detection tied to an asset inventory with clear ownership assignment • Partner with System & Data Engineering and other ops teams to embed security into architecture and change management (design reviews, sign-offs, "secure by default" patterns). • Educate and coach engineers and operations teams on security practices through reviews, consultations, and targeted training. • Identify, track, and determine mitigation strategies for security risks. Your Qualifications: • Proven track record as a security subject-matter expert, guiding engineering teams in end-to-end secure system design, with a focus on network architecture and cloud services. • Hands-on experience designing network segmentation/architecture and operating firewall / IDS-IPS platforms in production — you think in layers , not a checklist: internal zoning/segmentation to cut east-west movement and edge protection in front of public-facing apps (Cloudflare-style WAF managed + custom rules, rate limiting, bot/DDoS protection, TLS), sequenced by which assets are most exposed or highest-risk first. • Experience running structured, read-only-first reviews of cloud environments you've never seen before, working through identity and permissions (Azure RBAC/Entra or GCP IAM — over-privileged principals, standing admin, long-lived credentials), public exposure (open management ports, public storage/blob, public IPs), logging and visibility (activity/audit and flow logs), network rules (NSGs/firewall), and secrets handling — in that order of priority, before proposing changes. Primary focus on Azure permissions and configuration, with working knowledge of GCP and on-prem components. • Experience maintaining attack surface visibility on the assumption that the known asset inventory is incomplete — discovering unregistered/shadow assets via DNS enumeration, certificate transparency logs, IP-range/cloud enumeration, external scanning, and ASM tooling (e.g., Rapid7 Surface Command) — run as a continuous, monitored process with drift detection and alerting, not a one-time scan, with ownership assigned to whatever turns up. • Skilled at identifying gaps in existing network and cloud security architecture/configuration and recommending changes (authentication, authorization, network segmentation, bastion host setup, etc.). • Able to lead the technical direction and architecture of our cyber security defense capabilities, including enterprise security posture management. • Strong communicator, able to explain complex security concepts and risks to both technical and non-technical audiences. Standout Qualities: • Ability to balance security principles with business needs. • Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, GIAC, a network security certification such as CCNP Security, etc.). • Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure; working …
