Location: PL Stage: Early-stage startup Product: Robotics automation About the role We are looking for a Robotic Engineer to co-build a startup focused on developing cutting-edge automation solutions driven by physical AI and robotics. This is a highly hands-on technical role, not a corporate executive position. As our resident technical robotics expert, you will be the primary builder in the early days, focusing heavily on designing, sourcing, and adapting the hardware required to unlock physical AI automation. You will play a pivotal role in transforming a bold vision into a functional, scalable product while shaping the company's hardware and technical strategy from the ground up. Working in close collaboration with our Lead Physical AI/Machine Learning Engineer, you will seamlessly integrate intelligent software with your hardware solutions to shape the final product. Your mission is to bridge the gap between complex robotics engineering and commercial viability, laying the foundation for a high-performing hardware and engineering culture as the company scales. Your responsibilities • Aligning technical strategy with business goals, • Hands-on development & prototyping: Architecting and building robotics automation solutions, specifically integrating Physical AI intelligence with physical hardware, • Leveraging Physical AI models to drive process automation, optimizing operational efficiency in real-world, hardware-driven environments, • Defining the tech stack, software/hardware architecture, and product scalability roadmap, • Monitoring robotics, AI, and automation trends to maintain a competitive technological edge, • Translating customer feedback and market needs into robust technical requirements, • Creating an internal culture focused on code quality, ownership, rapid iteration, and high execution standards, • Establishing rigorous hardware-software co-development workflows, CI/CD pipelines tailored for robotics (encompassing firmware, ROS/ROS2, and physical AI model deployment), simulation-to-real testing frameworks, and robust safety and data compliance standards. Who we are looking for (must-have) • At least 5+ years of experience in robotics or automation companies (e.g., Lead Robotics Engineer, Hardware Lead, Tech Lead, or CTO, Robotic Engineer, Technical Manager), • At least 3+ years of hands-on expertise in robotics engineering, with a strong focus on designing, prototyping, sourcing, and adapting hardware (mechatronics, kinematics, sensor integration, embedded systems, and control systems), • Strong background in hardware and robotics engineering, with proven experience in building scalable physical automation platforms and deep-tech architecture from scratch, • Entrepreneurial mindset - you understand that pragmatic execution, rapid physical prototyping, and shipping fast beat perfect, over-engineered systems in an early-stage setup, • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, • Fluent Polish and English (spoken and written), • A university degree (engineering or master's degree) in automation, robotics, or mechatronics, • Knowledge of the principles of electrical engineering, electronics, and mechanical engineering, • Ability to write code in dedicated environments. Nice to have • Deep understanding of Physical AI / Embodied AI, specifically the hardware requirements and challenges of bridging the gap between digital ML models and physical execution (e.g., edge compute constraints, sensor noise, actuator dynamics, and sim-to-real transfer), • Background in deep-tech, AI, or engineering-driven startups, • Programming of industrial PLC controllers, HMI panels, and SCADA visualization systems, • Use of 3D design and robot simulation software (CAD). Engineering Compliance and CSV Manager

À distance ✓EN
A

Hi! We are AMBOSS, and we're looking for someone to take the role of Engineering Compliance Manager and CSV & Process Validation Manager in our medical device team. About AMBOSS AMBOSS is a dynamic learning and clinical decision support tool committed to empowering physicians globally to deliver optimal care. Since our inception in 2012, we've harnessed cutting-edge technology to transform the way physicians acquire and apply scientific knowledge. Each AMBOSSian is passionate about being the champion of clinicians today - this motivates and unites us each day towards success. And what does success look like? When a clinician or med student tells us, “AMBOSS makes practicing medicine easier and enjoyable. I love what I do, and a big part is because of AMBOSS.” Why can this position be exciting for you? At AMBOSS, we build tools that help doctors and students make critical decisions impacting the healthcare of billions of people worldwide. This position makes sure that our product is built, verified, and documented in a way that's compliant, trustworthy, and audit-ready. You'll work closely with engineering as an independent evaluator, setting the standard for what "done and compliant" means across our medical device software. Join a small, high-impact team ensuring our medical device software meets the regulatory standards needed to safely support healthcare professionals. You will: As CSV & Process Validation Manager, prove our systems and processes work and produce reliable evidence. • Own the computer system validation and process validation processes for the AMBOSS medical device portfolio — procedures, templates and work instructions — keeping them aligned with MDR and ISO 13485 and updated based on audit findings and team feedback. • Maintain the inventory of systems in scope and decide, risk-based, which need validation and to what depth; plan, execute and document that validation and keep systems in a validated state as they change. • Concentrate validation effort where the evidence is produced — test management, defect tracking, build/release tooling and automated pipeline steps whose output can't be fully verified by inspection alone — confirming these systems and processes reliably produce trustworthy, intended results. • Own the resulting evidence and represent it directly to auditors and regulators; raise, document and own validation deviations and the associated CAPAs through to resolution. As Engineering Compliance Manager, ensure the medical device product itself is built compliantly, from a day-to-day engineering work perspective • Own compliant execution of the software lifecycle — requirements, design, implementation, verification, release — against IEC 62304 and IEC 82304-1 • Define the compliance requirements and gates in our delivery pipeline against IEC 62304 and IEC 82304-1 (traceability tagging, release criteria, automated checks) and partner with engineering to implement them. • Operate the compliance gate in the release flow, keeping the trace intact from user requirement through verification to released evidence. Sign off each release as a required gate; no release ships without your approval. • Ensure engineering-related Technical Documentation deliverables are compliant with regulatory and QMS requirements • Onboard and train software engineers on compliance requirements and how to work within them day-to-day. • Act as the point of contact for audits and technical reviews on engineering-related topics, representing the team's compliance posture to auditors and Notified Body reviewers. • Drive resolution of audit findings and deficiencies affecting engineering. • Assess the engineering impact of Design Changes before they are implemented. • Identify and drive adoption of tooling the team is missing to work compliantly — both inside the QMS and on the engineering side. You bring: • Knowledge of medical devices or another regulated industry (pharma, biotech, IVD). Experience in, or eagerness to learn, computer system validation and/or process validation, including risk-based scoping of validation effort, is a plus. • Working knowledge of MDR, ISO 13485, IEC 62304 and IEC 82304-1 as they apply to software. • Familiarity with software engineering, and enough depth in our stack (React, Python, PHP, Go; AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, ArgoCD) to review pipelines, tests and release processes with engineers as a peer. • Experience representing validation documentation and rationale to auditors and inspectors. • Experience assessing the engineering/technical impact of Design Changes within a regulated development process. • Excellent written and spoken English You enjoy: • Working closely with engineers, Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs — able to challenge and be challenged on technical detail. • Strong communication and training skills, with the ability to explain complex validation requirements to cross-functional stakeholders …

Senior Visual designer

À distance ✓EN
P

Headquarters: Canada URL: https://pixel-one.com/ Full-time · Remote (Canada based preferred) Pixel One is a design studio for ambitious B2B SaaS teams. We embed with our clients, join their standups, and stay with their product as it evolves. Average client retention is 24+ months, which means you'll see what your work does to a business over years, not weeks. We're looking for a Senior Visual Designer to own client work from concept through final delivery. This is not a role where you execute someone else's brief. You'll understand the business strategy behind each project, identify the user experience problems our client's customers have been stuck on, and use design to solve them. You'll work directly with our leadership, our client's leadership, our design leads and you'll direct specialists in motion, and illustration on your projects. Qualifications 7+ years designing digital products (ideally with an agency) Strong fundamentals: Excellence in communication (can communicate with a team and various stakeholders) Excellence in aesthetic (UI/Visual design) Excellence in craft (Figma Hygiene, design principles and delight) Excellence in strategy (Can interpret vague requirements and clarify them + can drive product change through compelling concepts, prototypes and mockups) Expert-level Figma. Comfort with prototyping (AI or traditional tools) and motion is a strong plus Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and delegate work to a teammate (production designer) Confident communicator who can present and defend work directly to senior clients and founders. Our clients are opinionated and educated about design, it's not your typical agency! You will need to defend great design less vigorously but it will be expected more often. Comfortable with ambiguity and able to move fast without dropping quality Self-driven and organized enough to run your own project workflows without being managed Responsibilities Produce design work at a consistently high quality tier, with meticulous attention to craft, precision, and completeness. Define the design challenge at a strategic level, connecting solutions to client goals, strategy, and business vision. Identify the historical positioning problems behind each brief and design with those in mind Build and maintain style kits that give the team and collaborators a clear, consistent visual language Brief and coordinate specialists: translate client requirements into actionable direction for production designers, illustrators, motion designers, 3d artists and give feedback that keeps output aligned with the creative vision Communicate proactively with clients: estimate effort and timelines accurately, respond to Slack within one business hour during working hours. Own projects end to end, from brief through final delivery Maintain asset hygiene: files clean, structured, and aligned with team fundamentals Manage project operations in Notion, keeping planning pages, task boards, and meeting notes current without being prompted Prioritize effectively, focusing on the right tasks in the right order at the right time Participate actively in team rituals: crits, elevate sessions, and growth activities Highlights Meaningful work: Partner directly with founders and executives at companies building serious products. Your designs ship to real users and move real businesses. Our clients come back after they exit. We develop deep relationship with them which means we're able to see the impact of our work overtime (unheard of in a traditional agency). Exceptional team: Work alongside designers who are generous collaborators, not competitors. Everyone here is deeply skilled and genuinely invested in lifting the team up. Remote: We're distributed (mostly across Canada) and flexible about where you work, as long as you cover PT and ET hours with stellar internet. Offsites: We meet in person at least 2 times per year! These are good moments to get the team together, celebrate our accomplishments and align on a unified vision. Past locations: Montreal, Toronto, Barcelona, Greece, Miami, Mont-Tremblant, Tulum Growth investment: We cover courses, workshops, and other learning you want to pursue. Just bring it to your manager. We also run weekly elevate sessions where the team sharpens design and thinking skills together. Senior Product Designer

We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to own client work from concept through final delivery. Identify the historical positioning problems behind each brief and design with those in mind Build and maintain style kits that give the team and collaborators a clear, consistent visual language Brief and coordinate specialists: translate client requirements into actionable direction for production designers and give feedback that keeps output aligned with the creative vision Communicate proactively with clients: estimate effort and timelines accurately, respond to Slack within one business hour during working hours. Cross-disciplinary collaboration: Work with motion designers, illustrators, and other specialists. You'll expand your craft and find more opportunities for delight. Clarity: You'll know what's expected of you, what you need to succeed in the role, and how to grow beyond it. Health insurance: All Canada based employees receive private health insurance. Senior Infrastructure Engineer, PostgreSQL

À distance ✓EN
L

Laravel is looking for our first dedicated Senior Infrastructure Engineer, PostgreSQL to join our all-remote Laravel Cloud infrastructure team. For this role we're only considering applications in the EU and Eastern US timezones. We're on a mission to improve the experience of developers everywhere in the world. To do so, we don't only need to build beautiful software products, we also need to have a solid infrastructure foundation. We always look at products end-to-end when we build something new, and love to keep our users front and center regardless of which part of the product we're building, so we are not only looking for a person who knows how to work with cloud providers and infrastructure, but someone who is able to have empathy for our users and wants to build the best possible products possible. Databases are the part of that foundation our users trust us with most - it's where their data lives, and it's the thing they can least afford to have go wrong. We're tackling some ambitious and exciting infrastructure projects, and we are looking for a colleague who can help us succeed with the mission - not just solve infrastructure problems. We are looking for someone who is pragmatic and a team player, someone who knows the best practices, but also knows when a custom solution is required. For this role, we are specifically looking for someone to join the Infrastructure team, working on our Laravel Cloud platform. Laravel Cloud is a fully managed infrastructure platform built for developers and teams who just want to ship their next big idea, and it's relentlessly optimized for Laravel and PHP. Managed PostgreSQL is a core part of that platform, and we want someone to own it end to end: the operator that runs it, the automation around it, the reliability story, and the best practices we hold ourselves to. This is a build-it-from-the-ground-up role. You will be the person who takes our PostgreSQL offering from "it works" to "it's excellent", and you'll have real latitude to decide what that means. Kubernetes, AWS, and Go are the tools you'll use to get there. If these things appeal to you, then please come join us on this exciting journey! Infrastructure Engineering at Laravel • Work together with a world class team, touching the developer experience of hundreds of thousands of developers around the world. • Work on our most ambitious project yet, the recently announced Laravel Cloud platform. • Spend time researching the best solutions. We want to make sure we do the right things right. • Value the collaborative process, we often pair program or have quick huddles to tackle tricky problems and like to come up with solutions together. • Enjoy programming(!). Even though we're often working with cloud providers such as AWS, we also sometimes need to build custom tooling and integrations and we enjoy doing that ourselves. • Documentation is king, especially in an all-remote company. We pride ourselves in documenting for ourselves and for our users. • Flexible hours and minimum bureaucracy, allowing you the freedom to get your best work done whichever way you prefer. What you'll be doing • Deploy, manage, and optimize PostgreSQL clusters on Kubernetes, owning high availability, performance, backups, and disaster recovery. • Develop, maintain, and enhance Kubernetes operators and controllers in Go to automate database and platform operations. • Design, build, and operate highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS across multiple accounts and regions. • Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, and automate the operational workflows that are still manual today. • Improve reliability, scalability, and security through monitoring, observability, and proactive capacity planning. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues across PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure. • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve developer experience, CI/CD pipelines, and platform automation. • Define and promote best practices for database operations, and mentor engineers as our PostgreSQL expertise grows around you. What success looks like • First 30 days : You understand our PostgreSQL platform, the surrounding infrastructure, our workloads, and where the operational pain actually is. • First 60 days : You have taken ownership of PostgreSQL operations and started improving reliability, monitoring, and automation. • First 90 days : You have delivered measurable improvements in performance, scalability, and operational maturity, and you are setting the long-term direction for the platform. • After 12 months : You are the owner and the expert for PostgreSQL at Laravel. Operational complexity is lower, database practices are better, and engineering teams build and scale on top of PostgreSQL with confidence. Requirements • 7+ years of experience in software, platform, or infrastructure engineering, preferably working closely with large scale production systems. …
