If this role excites you, we’d love you to raise your hand for what could be a truly career-defining opportunity. Staff Backend Engineer, Alerting This is a remote opportunity and we would be interested in applications from Germany. The Opportunity: The Grafana Alerting squad operates at the core of the Grafana open-source project (link) , and our mission is to provide the most in-depth way to let users manage their alerts. The backend-focused team works closely with customers and the Grafana Cloud teams to make Alerting work on-prem and at infinite scale in Cloud. Our domain is quite large, so to get an idea of the kind of work we do, here are some projects we recently worked on: • Build distributed systems to scale alert ingestion and delivery of Prometheus-based alerts • Unify Alerting setup and delivery to work the same for Grafana and Prometheus-based alerts • Build distributed systems to scale alert evaluation of Grafana-managed alerts, reaching over 500 evaluations per second in production. Grafana Alerting is trusted by major organizations worldwide, monitoring essential medical devices and critical infrastructure. We thrive on collective creativity and diverse perspectives, every team member is encouraged to contribute ideas that shape our product into a dependable tool. What You’ll Be Doing: • Take an active role in influencing our roadmap and your own career objectives • Work with your team to deliver new features, then use the results to iterate and improve. • Drive projects from initial ideation all the way to operations once it is in the hands of customers • Embrace our open-source culture and contribute to other projects that may not directly fall within your team’s scope • Design, build, operate, and maintain critical systems, owning the reliability, performance, and availability • Be a part of your team’s on-call rotations and take ownership of the services you’re running • Mentor and support other team members, participate in design discussions and collaborate with the team • Learn new skills by gaining a deeper understanding of our cloud product and our customers and getting to know the codebase of a large distributed system As we are remote-first and our engineering organization is largely remote, we provide guidance and meet regularly using video calls, so an independent attitude and good communication skills are a must. What Makes You a Great Fit: • You are a motivated self starter with a bias towards action • You are customer focused • We build everything with our users in mind. • You have a passion for creating intuitive products that fit customers’ needs • Pragmatism: You are able to take on complex challenges and break them down to achieve short feedback loops: to analyze, design, and build modular solutions, deliver MVPs, gather data and feedback and then progress iteratively • Collaboration and communication: The smallest unit we have is a team. You’ll be working with your teammates in a fully remote setup. Good communication skills are a must • Solid experience with at least one programming language. We use Go, but if you have familiarity with Python, Java, C++, Rust or similar then that translates well • Some experience with delivering projects from gathering requirements, brainstorming ideas all the way to shipping a product to the customer’s hands in a self-driven way • Some experience with developing software that runs in the Cloud or some experience with systems engineering • Experience writing clean, robust, and performant software that is easily maintained by others Compensation & Rewards: In Germany, the compensation range for this role is EUR 109,709 - EUR 131,651 …
AI Project / Product Manager (PSP / Fintech)
Remote ✓The Company Is a fast-growing fintech company building cutting-edge AI-driven products for payment infrastructure. Our ecosystem includes financial data analytics, internal process automation, sales tools, compliance, and risk management systems. We are looking for an ambitious, hands-on Project/Product Manager to own the delivery and product alignment across 5+ internal projects, heavily leveraging AI tools to maximize personal and team efficiency. Role Breakdown This is a hybrid role for a professional looking to make their next career leap into Product Management while maintaining an iron grip on technical delivery. • 70% Project Management / Delivery: Keeping Jira pristine, driving development, unblocking the team, and ensuring absolute predictability regarding timelines and risks. This is NOT a status-reporting role; you will actively manage development. • 30% Product Management: Understanding the product ecosystem, mapping feature dependencies, defining the roadmap, asking stakeholders the right questions, and proposing strategic solutions. Key Responsibilities Delivery & Jira Management (70%) • Maintain the Jira backlog as the single source of truth (clean descriptions, clear priorities, active dependencies). • Plan capacity and forecast timelines using Jira Plans (Advanced Roadmaps). • Proactively identify and mitigate delivery risks and delays early in the cycle. • Unblock developers daily through technical clarification, resource reallocation, or escalation. • Run structured, high-focus standups and maintain clear documentation in Confluence (requirements, architectural decisions, task links). Product & Stakeholder Management (30%) • Own the product structure, understanding how features interconnect across multiple internal systems. • Formulate and justify the product roadmap (what we build, in what order, and why). • Collaborate with stakeholders to challenge assumptions, ask probing questions, and translate business ideas into structured technical tasks and workflows. Requirements • Proven Delivery Record: Solid practical experience in technical project management. Certifications without real-world practice will not be considered. • Advanced Jira Proficiency: Mastery of Tasks, Epics, Links, Workflows, and Jira Plans for top-down prioritization (blocks / relates/depends). • Deep Delivery Control: Ability to estimate dev effort roughly, stay "inside the task context," and eliminate root causes of blockers rather than just logging them. • Logical Clarity: Ability to explain a task's logic and workflow to anyone without relying on developers. If you don't understand the task, it doesn't go into production. • High Autonomy: A self-starter mindset with strong critical thinking, ready to work long/flexible hours initially to hit aggressive goals. We measure success by output and results, not hours tracked. Nice to Have: • Experience in Fintech, PSP, or High-Risk payment domains. • Experience working with distributed international teams. • Basic understanding of financial metrics and unit economics. • Hands-on experience with AI products or mature technical ecosystems. What We Offer • Direct impact on shaping AI products in a real-world fintech environment. • Competitive salary pegged to your skills and delivery speed. • 100% remote work with zero bureaucracy and maximum agility. • A strong, high-caliber engineering team ready to implement bold ideas.

What you'll own • Build, launch, and manage Google Ads campaigns across multiple B2C subscription products • Continuously optimize campaigns for key metrics: CAC, CPL, CPA, ROAS, ROMI, LTV • Run structured A/B testing across keywords, ad copy, bidding strategies, and landing pages • Monitor account health, budget pacing, and campaign performance daily • Work closely with the Data Engineer on tracking, attribution, and reporting accuracy • Stay on top of Google Ads policy changes, platform updates, and best practices • Collaborate with the founder on strategy and campaign direction We're looking for someone who • Has hands-on experience running and optimizing Google Ads campaigns for B2C digital products • Has experience in B2C SaaS, AI-powered, or consumer subscription businesses • Deeply understands Google Ads account management, compliance, policies, and the platform's unwritten rules • Is comfortable working with data — Excel / Google Sheets / SQL — and making decisions based on performance metrics • Has experience with subscription-based or recurring revenue products, ideally for the US market • Is detail-oriented and enjoys being deep in campaign-level execution • Communicates fluently in English Nice to have • Experience with Bing Ads • Background in performance-driven companies in the subscription / mobile app space • Experience working closely with data/analytics teams on tracking and attribution If you're excited by deep, hands-on Google Ads work and want to drive real growth for profitable subscription products, we'd love to hear from you.
