What "Verified remote" means
Some remote jobs on Nomado24 carry the "Verified remote" badge. Here is how that check works, what it covers, and what it does not.
What we check
Work-arrangement classification
Every aggregated job posting is evaluated by a language model for its actual work arrangement: remote, hybrid, or on-site. The "Verified remote" badge appears when our automated AI review has classified the posting as fully remote.
Hidden on-site requirements
Some postings advertise "remote" or "work from home" while the body text quietly requires regular in-office presence. Postings with such hidden on-site requirements are excluded from the remote classification. "Remote" here means no office-presence requirement: a role can still be restricted to a specific country or the EU, which we show separately as its region.
Language classification
Every posting is automatically matched to the language it is actually written in, so users never land on a translation that does not exist.
Daily freshness sweeps
A daily sweep checks whether a posting is still active. Expired postings are removed, and the page then reliably returns a 404 instead of keeping a dead listing up.
What the badge does not mean
- It is not a guarantee from the employer and not a legally binding promise about the work arrangement.
- The automated classification can make mistakes: ambiguously worded postings can be misclassified.
- It does not replace your own verification during the interview, especially for details like core hours or occasional on-site requirements.
Why we do this
On many job boards, unclassified "work from home" hits and genuinely location-bound roles sit under the same remote category. That costs job seekers time and erodes trust in remote listings generally. We publish our methodology because a check is only worth something if what it actually checks is verifiable.
