Which jobs ask for Romanian, and where they are based
Romanian is required in customer support and sales for Romania and Moldova, in finance and accounting teams of large service centres, and in IT and software teams with Romanian customers. Many of these teams are based in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Iași, Timișoara or Brașov, others in Lisbon or Barcelona. Romanian is usually requested together with English, sometimes also with German or French.
How this list is built
Only jobs whose posting explicitly asks for Romanian appear here: as a native language, fluent, at business level, or as a language named in the job title. A posting that merely mentions Romanian, for example because the company has customers in that country, does not count, and neither does "a plus". The matching runs automatically on the posting text, so it would rather miss a job than include a wrong one. The postings themselves are written in German, English or French.
Fully remote roles come first, hybrid roles with home-office days and set office days follow below. We do not list purely on-site jobs. Where a role is based, and whether you need to live in a particular country, is stated in each posting. Set up a job alert below to hear about new matches.
