Job description
About AI Acquisition
AI Acquisition is the global category leader in AI service provider enablement. Operating globally with the US as its primary market, our unique hybrid of Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and AI marketplace has achieved explosive growth by connecting AI agencies with qualified enterprise opportunities at scale. We combine proprietary AI orchestration tools with proven enterprise SaaS infrastructure to deliver immediate value to small and medium businesses worldwide.
We’re revolutionizing the way entrepreneurs build businesses by brokering AI tools to business owners eager to succeed. Whether through our AI Agency Incubator, AI Accelerator, or AI Agency Launchpad, we provide the systems, training, and support to help our members achieve rapid success.
The Role
We are looking for a Head of Marketing Technology & Automation to take absolute ownership of our end-to-end marketing infrastructure. This is not a traditional virtual assistant or ticket-taking role. We are hiring a true Technical Operator—someone who will look at our marketing landscape, independently design the strategy, and execute the architecture completely free of day-to-day oversight.
You aren't just completing tasks; you own the systems layer of all marketing funnels—tracking, attribution, reporting, funnel pages, multi-step automations, and global email infrastructure.
Today, this execution layer requires too much internal oversight. We are hiring a sharp, high-agency leader who can be handed a one-line business objective and trusted to return a fully mapped, tested, and operating technical solution. This is a full-time, remote position ideal for a data-driven technical manager who wants to build robust, AI-accelerated marketing systems at scale.
Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Ownership & Strategy: Act as the technical architect for all marketing funnels. Autonomously design, implement, and audit data pathways without needing micro-management from leadership.
- Tracking, Attribution & Financial Reconciliation: Implement and structurally maintain comprehensive attribution tracking (Meta pixel + Conversions API, GTM server-side tagging, GA4); define and enforce strict UTM frameworks; ruthlessly debug data or numbers discrepancies between ad platforms, our CRM (Close), and payment gateways (Whop/Stripe) end-to-end.
- Reporting & Anomaly Detection: Build, own, and maintain marketing campaign dashboards. Guarantee 100% data fidelity, proactively deep-diving into analytics anomalies and fixing root-cause tracking bugs before leadership ever has to ask.
- Funnel Operations: Oversee and optimize high-converting landing pages, VSL pages, opt-in forms, and complex multi-path booking flows across our page builders. Set up clean split-testing parameters ensuring zero leakage in data recording.
- Advanced Automation & System Architecture: Architect and manage robust n8n webhooks and multi-branch workflows connecting external forms, Close CRM, Slack, Google Sheets, and our email platform—ensuring strict error handling and automated fallback paths are built natively into every execution loop.
- Email Ops & Deliverability Architecture: Direct the execution of multi-step behavioral email sequences and system triggers within our ESP. Own long-term list hygiene, technical exit conditions, domain isolation, and overall deliverability metrics.
- AI Orchestration: Aggressively leverage AI agents and advanced prompt engineering to accelerate team output; identify key areas in our pipeline where AI steps can scale throughput or operational intelligence.
- Future Scope: Take full technical ownership of the marketing operations department, with the runway to hire, structure, and directly manage junior technical VAs/contractors as we scale.
Requirements
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Ownership & Operator Mindset (Non-Negotiable): You have a proven track record of owning marketing technology stacks entirely without oversight. You have personally managed a technical team or solo function for a fast-growing agency/SaaS, setting up complex tech ecosystems from scratch. You think like a business owner, not a component builder.
- High Horsepower & Agency: Given a highly ambiguous brief, you fill the gaps with sensible architectural choices, explicitly document your core assumptions, flag uncertainties, and ship completely functional results first time round.
- Automation Mastery: Extensive hands-on depth in advanced workflow automation tools ( n8n strongly preferred ; Make/Zapier acceptable only with a portfolio proving complex, multi-branch builds, heavy webhook parsing, custom API requests, and built-in error trapping).
- Deep Tracking Fluency: You can tell a specific technical war story about a severe numbers mismatch between an ad platform and a CRM that you independently tracked down, debugged, and resolved via server-side tagging or webhooks.
- Code Literacy: Highly comfortable working with custom REST APIs, raw JSON data …
