What you can expect

• Marketing Strategy & Budget:  Take full ownership of shaping the marketing strategy and guide the end-to-end budget allocation for our brands Pincamp and ANWB Camping.
• Team Leadership:  Lead, mentor, and empower the digital marketing team (currently 9 team members) to foster growth and high performance.
• Performance Marketing:  Expand and refine performance marketing channels with a strong focus on AI-driven automation.
• Retention & Owned Channels:  Further develop our customer retention strategy and scale our owned channels to build lasting customer relationships.
• Brand Marketing & Shareholder Alignment:  Execute brand marketing initiatives in close collaboration with our shareholders (ADAC, ANWB, TCS).
• MarTech & Analytics:  Develop and enhance the marketing technology stack, including digital analytics and performance steering frameworks.
• Agency Management:  Build and manage strong, collaborative partnerships with external agencies.

What you should bring

• Experience:  6+ years of relevant professional experience in digital marketing, paired with proven experience in guiding and supporting teams.
• Budget Management:  Strong background in managing and optimizing 7-figure marketing budgets.
• Channel Expertise:  Proficient in steering SEO and performance channels, with strong expertise in developing and implementing engaging CRM strategies.
• Analytical & Technical Mindset:  Deep understanding of web tracking and attribution, with a clear vision of how automation and AI can elevate marketing operations.
• Communication:  Ability to connect with people, break down complex topics, and present or negotiate comfortably in both German and English (minimum C1 level).
• Bonus Skill:  Fluent in Dutch? Even better! Collaborating with our ANWB colleagues in the Netherlands will be a regular highlight of your role.
