Job description
Your mission
We are looking for a Customer Deployment Manager who will take Bliq customers from signed agreement to successful real-world deployment, and then grow the relationship from there.
Every Bliq customer is effectively its own project. Their vehicles, operating model, users, integrations, economics, permits, locations, and operational requirements can all be different. Your job is to turn the commercial agreement into something that works on the road.
You will take over customers from the Account Executive, build the detailed deployment plan, coordinate execution across Bliq, manage the relationship with the customer, solve problems as they appear, and make sure both sides deliver what they committed to.
The role combines hands-on project management with customer-facing ownership. Some days you will be working through deployment plans, timelines, spreadsheets, operational requirements, and internal dependencies. On others, you will be sitting with a customer, coordinating with local authorities, resolving an operational issue, or identifying how we can expand from five vehicles to fifty.
Once the customer is live, you remain responsible for the relationship. Your job is to make the deployment successful enough that customers want to do more with Bliq.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of business customers after LOI or contract signature and lead them through deployment
- Translate commercial agreements into detailed project plans with clear milestones, owners, dependencies, and deadlines
- Define the operating model together with the customer and internal teams, including vehicles, fleet operations, remote operations, supervision, dispatch, service requirements, and responsibilities
- Coordinate stakeholders across product, engineering, operations, sales, management, external partners, and the customer
- Keep complex deployment projects moving and identify blockers before they become launch delays
- Own customer communication throughout implementation and make sure expectations, decisions, and open issues are clear
- Work with local regulators, authorities, and relevant partners to ensure required permissions and operational conditions are in place
- Coordinate market-specific requirements across different European deployments
- Solve operational problems quickly once vehicles are live and make sure customers receive excellent support
- Build strong relationships with customer decision-makers and operating teams
- Track deployment performance and turn operational data and customer feedback into concrete improvements
- Identify opportunities to expand accounts through additional vehicles, locations, use cases, or Bliq services
- Own renewals and commercial expansion together with the Commercial Lead
- Create clear internal reporting on project status, risks, decisions, and customer needs
- Build reusable deployment processes, templates, checklists, and account management systems as we learn
- Feed recurring customer requirements back into product and operational priorities
- Help build Bliq’s deployment and account expansion playbook from scratch
Your profile
Apply if this describes you:
- You have at least 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role involving project delivery, account management, implementation, or a comparable environment
- You are obsessed with the customer experience and take problems personally until they are solved
- You are an excellent project manager and can coordinate multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and deadlines without losing control of the details
- You communicate clearly with customers and internally, including when something has gone wrong or a difficult decision needs to be made
- You are comfortable switching between a customer meeting and detailed back-office execution
- You are highly organized and reliable; once you own a project, people know it will keep moving
- You are a strong problem-solver and can create structure when the problem has never been solved before
- You move quickly in Google Sheets and are comfortable working with operating models, budgets, timelines, and quantitative assumptions
- You have enough commercial instinct to spot opportunities to deepen and expand a customer relationship
- You can work across technical and non-technical teams and translate between customer requirements and internal execution
- You use AI effectively to research, prepare, document, analyze, and automate routine work
- You have a figure-it-out mindset and are comfortable working with incomplete information
- You can manage several customer projects simultaneously while maintaining a high standard for each
- You can work professionally in German and English; additional European languages are a plus
- You are based in Berlin
- You are willing to travel regularly to customer deployments across Europe
- Experience with mobility, automotive, fleet operations, hardware, logistics, public transport, regulated industries, …
