Job description
What we’re looking for
We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented working student to help us build and scale our technical purchasing operations. You will support the sourcing of electronic and mechanical components critical to our unmanned systems, help manage supplier relationships across Europe and make sure our supply chain holds up under real operational pressure. This is a hands-on role from day one: you will work closely with design, workshop and quality assurance to make sure every component entering our supply chain meets the standard our systems demand.
The day-to-day
- Supply chain support: You support supply chain management, demand planning and order management.
- Inventory control: You help the purchasing team monitor inventory levels, availability and delivery capability, and you find ways to optimize stock.
- Operational coordination: You coordinate with production and external logistics providers to keep things moving.
- Goods & invoices: You process and document incoming and outgoing goods and returns, review supplier invoices and enter them into our ERP system.
- Cross-team work: You work closely with finance, production, import & export and quality.
You should apply if you
- Your studies fit: You are enrolled in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a comparable field. We are flexible here.
- The timing works: Ideally you are 6–12 months away from graduating and can picture joining us full-time afterwards.
- You stay structured under pressure: Parallel projects, complex orders, shifting priorities. You stay organized and keep everyone informed.
- You are proactive, not reactive: You don’t wait for supply chain problems to escalate. You see them coming and you act.
- You speak both languages: You have at least B2 English and B2 German .
Nice to haves
- ERP experience : you've managed procurement workflows through an ERP system .
- Startup DNA: you're used to building structure , not just following it. Ambiguity doesn't slow you down.
- First professional experience : internships , working student roles , or early career positions in technical purchasing are a clear plus.
What we offer
- Real impact & ownership: Shape high-tech defense systems and take responsibility from day one
- Mission-driven environment: Work on technologies that matter for European security and sovereignty
- Competitive package: Competitive salary, EGYM Wellpass, corporate benefits
- Deep tech environment: Get hands-on experience with cutting-edge drone technology and real operational use cases
- Grow fast: Steep learning curve for juniors, strategic influence and leadership opportunities for seniors
- Startup mindset meets defence innovation: flat hierarchies, fast decisions, and space for your ideas.
- Flexibility: Flexible hours, remote options, and relocation support
- Strong team: International, driven colleagues and a culture built on exchange, trust, and shared success
