You will become a trusted operational partner across multiple businesses. You will assume ownership of the CEO's calendar, communications, meeting preparation, priorities, and follow-through, creating the structure that allows him to focus on critical business decisions. This is a hands-on executive partnership requiring sound judgment, confident gatekeeping, and the ability to anticipate needs before they become urgent.
You will also help establish the working rhythms, delegation practices, and organizational systems behind an effective executive office. This is an opportunity for a proactive professional to build a trusted support function from the ground up, work closely with the CEO, and make an immediate contribution in an exciting high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and optimize the CEO's calendar across four companies, resolving conflicts and protecting time for strategic priorities
- Manage meeting requests and act as a thoughtful gatekeeper, applying sound judgment to access, urgency, and escalation
- Triage executive communications and draft routine correspondence in the CEO's voice
- Prepare agendas, briefing materials, and relevant context so the CEO is ready for each meeting
- Capture decisions and action items, coordinate follow-ups, and drive commitments through completion
- Serve as a liaison among the CEO, company leaders, employees, partners, and other external stakeholders
- Build practical systems for delegation, inbox management, meeting preparation, task tracking, and follow-through
- Anticipate competing priorities and address scheduling or communication issues before they disrupt the CEO's work
- Maintain an accurate view of commitments and deadlines across the group
- Coordinate meetings, events, and business travel when required
- Handle sensitive business, personnel, and executive information with discretion
- Continuously identify ways to reduce the CEO's administrative load and improve executive-office effectiveness
Additional Information
- Location: Dublin, Ohio
- Predominantly onsite, with occasional remote flexibility for individual circumstances
- Permanent position
- No regular travel required
- Reports directly to the CEO
- No direct reports
- Relocation assistance is not available
Requirements
- Direct, substantive experience supporting a CEO, President, founder, owner, or comparable C-suite principal
- Demonstrated ownership of complex executive calendars, communications, meeting preparation, and follow-through
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the judgment to represent an executive professionally
- Exceptional organization and prioritization skills in a fast-moving, multi-stakeholder environment
- A proactive, independent working style and the ability to anticipate executive needs
- Professional working proficiency in English
- Ability to work predominantly onsite in Dublin, Ohio
- College degree or a strong equivalent combination of senior C-suite support experience and relevant education or certification
Preferred
- Experience supporting an executive in a rapidly growing or founder-led organization
- Experience coordinating priorities across multiple companies, entities, or business units
- Success establishing an executive support function or partnering with an executive new to dedicated EA support
