Position: Sonic Audit Specialist - German
Type: Contract
Compensation: $42/hour
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI training data in German to ensure accuracy and clarity.
• Review multilingual transcription audits by listening to recordings and verifying transcriptions.
• Conduct forced alignment audits to check and correct audio segment timestamps.
• Apply a fixed set of error codes and provide a written rationale for each judgment.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Native or near-native command of German as spoken in Germany.
• Strong English reading and writing skills.
• Experience in transcription, subtitling, localization, linguistic annotation, or QA.
• Ability to distinguish similar sounds and identify word boundaries in speech.

Preferred

• Experience in AI data annotation or model evaluation.
• Background in phonetics or linguistics .
• Familiarity with audio editing or waveform tools .
