Your mission

As General Manager Advanced Trading (Fusion) , you will own the strategic direction, commercial growth, operational excellence, and platform evolution of our advanced trading ecosystem. Fusion is the high-performance core that delivers institutional-grade trading capabilities to retail customers and professional traders alike across web and mobile environments.

You will combine product strategy, trading expertise, and technology leadership to ensure Fusion differentiates Bitpanda as a best-in-class platform within the European market. Your North Star is driving sustainable trading activity, deep customer engagement, and trading-related revenue growth. You will build the overarching product vision, scale the advanced trading business, and unlock immense long-term customer value.

What You'll Do

• Define and execute the long-term strategic vision, user positioning, and feature roadmap across all supported asset classes (crypto, equities, commodities, derivatives).
• Own the web/mobile user experience and partner with Engineering to build low-latency, high-availability, and resilient trading infrastructure.
• Drive business performance and optimize core metrics, including trading volume, active user growth, retention, and lifetime value.
• Scale and lead multidisciplinary teams while collaborating directly with the CEO to align strategy, investment, and executive prioritization.
• Work alongside Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams to ensure all advanced trading functionalities operate within regulatory frameworks.

Who You Are

• Fintech & Trading Leader: Substantial experience leading cross-functional teams across trading platforms, brokerages, exchanges, or investment technology environments.
• Infrastructure & Market Expert: Deep technical understanding of market structure, advanced execution platforms, and scalable infrastructure.
• Trader-Obsessed: Deep empathy for active traders with an intimate understanding of complex professional trading workflows.
• Commercial & Resilient Decision-Maker: High-ownership, analytical mindset with a track record of scaling revenue-generating financial products under high pressure.
• Regulated Environment Native: Highly experienced in operating within regulated financial landscapes, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
