Job description

Responsibilities

  • Drive primarily new business and generate strong global pipelines with existing and new accounts in the Nordics (Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway)
  • Continuously establish and develop close business relationships with C-Levels Executive at investment companies, IPPs, utilities and EPCs, expanding Sales coverage of the company in Europe
  • Provide strong service to new and existing accounts, including product workshops, on-site visits and trainings where needed
  • Managing selected accounts in Germany (new and established ones)
  • Contribute to the design, development and implementation of the company’s sales plan in Europe
  • Identify and develop relationships with key investors, developers, utilities and EPCs.
  • Negotiate and follow up framework agreements and module supply contracts
  • Drive cross selling opportunities across all of Trina’s Business Units (Modules, Structures and BESS) as a unique business proposition
  • Contribute to the team’s quarterly and yearly module sales targets
  • Manage entire selling process from forecasting to actual product delivery and payment collection, staying in close contact both with customers and all the company’s related internal departments
  • Communication directly with customers on issues relating related to their orders and shipments
  • Coordinate with Contract Management Department to ensure availability and timely delivery of module, and the fulfilment of all contractual obligations
  • Maintain close relationship and communication with existing key accounts to understand their pipeline and needs regarding technical, financial, logistic and marketing support, and organize internal resources to meet those needs and identify new business opportunities
  • Analyze, monitor and maintain account customer data in Salesforce, and develop reports on a regular, weekly basis based on customer information and development trends.
  • Ensure effective reporting of all activities under of the managed accounts to the Regional Team Lead on a weekly / monthly / quarterly basis
  • Identify, establish and manage multi-tiered relationships across customers and

company’s organization to ensure a long-term business partnership

  • Represent the company in local and national exhibitions and conferences
  • Travel ad-hoc for client meetings and regular visits to their headquarters
  • Coordinate Logistics, Financial Alignment, Quality and Pre- and After-Sales topics for shipments made
  • Stay up to date with market information, including competitors and customers

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ previous experience within a similar role in an international company.
  • Experience with investors, utilities, and EPCs in the solar sector.
  • Experience in the PV or renewable energy sector
  • Experience with CRM and/or Salesforce.
  • Experience with document review/contract review tools in Microsoft Word and Microsoft TEAMS for fast and smooth collaboration with other departments
  • Strong basis for customer satisfaction.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to influence and drive decisions between external shareholders, internal departments and peers.
  • Proactive self-starter and problem solver.
  • Very strong contract negotiation and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout Northern Germany and the Nordics
  • Based in Northern Germany, preferably Hamburg.
  • Flexibility to travel ad-hoc for client meetings and regular visits to their headquarters
  • Languages:  Fluent English and German, and market specific language skills. Any further European language skills is a plus
