Solution Engineer CIS - Freelancer from Kazakhstan (m/w/d)

We are looking for a customer-focused Solution Engineer who combines strong technical expertise with a commercial mindset. In this role, you will be a trusted technical advisor for customers, partners, and our sales organisation, helping to identify needs, design suitable solutions, and demonstrate the value of our products.

Your mission

• Act as the technical pre-sales contact for prospective customers, business partners, and the sales team
• Understand customer requirements and translate them into compelling product and solution proposals
• Present, demonstrate, and explain product capabilities, use cases, and technical benefits
• Support on-site and remote c ustomer meetings, workshops, proof of concepts, and project opportunities
• Collaborate with the  our Key Account Managers based in the CIS region , Europe an office, distributor network, and channel partners on strategic sales activities
• Prepare and deliver technical training for business partners and customers
• Support the preparation and execution of events, including technical setup and product demonstrations, independently or together with Marketing and Sales colleagues
• Provide technical input for sales opportunities, partner enablement, and go-to-market activities
• Offer occasional technical guidance to existing customers where needed, with a clear focus on enabling successful solution adoption rather than day-to-day support

Your profile

• Relevant IT qualification and at least 3 years of experience in a technical pre-sales, solution engineering, technical consulting, or comparable customer-facing technical role
• Strong technical knowledge of networking, storage, NAS, virtualization, and video surveillance
• A natural ability to combine technical understanding with customer and business needs
• Strong presentation, communication, and consultative selling skills
• Fluent in Russian and English, both written and spoken
• Experience working with customers, partners, or channel organizations, with a clear, confident, and target-oriented approach
• Ability to explain complex technical topics in an understandable and engaging way
• Creativity, flexibility, and a proactive problem-solving mindset
• High degree of self-responsibility, ownership, and strategic thinking
• Friendly, collaborative personality and strong team-player attitude
• Based Astana or Almaty, with a valid driving licence and own vehicle for customer visits throughout the country (compensation package will be presented)
