Job Title : Senior UX Designer

Location: Sofia, Bulgaria (hybrid)

Reports to: Manager, User Interface Design

A quick snapshot …

Senior UX Designers at Conga sit at the intersection of UX craft, strategic research, and systems thinking. This is a senior role with end-to-end ownership across complex enterprise product areas, from early problem framing and user research through interaction design, delivery, and iteration.

The strongest candidates bring a holistic point of view. They understand how users work, how systems are built, and how good design decisions compound over time into products people actually trust. They engage with business context, not just feature specs. They know how to frame a problem, facilitate alignment across disciplines, and hold a high bar for craft without losing sight of what ships.

Why it’s a big deal…

Conga's products are used by enterprise teams to manage some of the most consequential workflows in their business: contracts, pricing, revenue operations. When the experience is confusing, deals stall and teams lose trust in the tools. When it's clear and well-considered, it compounds. As a Senior UX Designer here, your decisions shape how thousands of enterprise users navigate complexity every day, set patterns that flow into the Phoenix design system, and influence how engineering builds. The quality of your thinking has reach well beyond your immediate product area.

Here's what you'll do...

  • Lead UX design for complex, cross-functional product areas from early problem framing through delivery and iteration.
  • Design intelligent and automated user experiences, including AI-powered workflows and conversational interfaces.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to shape solution direction and influence technical decisions that impact the user experience.
  • Plan and conduct user research, usability testing, and concept validation.
  • Evolve interaction patterns and contribute to the Phoenix Design System.
  • Use analytics and customer insights to inform design decisions and measure outcomes.
  • Communicate design strategy across Product, Engineering, and Leadership.
  • Mentor and support designers across the team.

What you'll bring...

  • 7+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating enterprise or SaaS product work.
  • Experience designing AI-powered features: agentic workflows, AI assistants, or automated decision surfaces
  • Proficiency in Figma including component architecture, auto layout, prototyping, and design system contribution, plus hands-on familiarity with vibe coding and AI-assisted design tools (Cursor, v0, Bolt, or similar)
  • Demonstrated foundation in core UX methods, including user stories, journey maps, wireframes, and mind maps, and the ability to select the right approach for the work at hand
  • Able to plan and run user research independently across interviews, usability testing, and concept validation
  • Strong communication and facilitation: able to run a critique, align a stakeholder, and write a clear design brief

Nice to haves:

  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts or prompt design as they relate to user-facing product experiences
  • Experience contributing to a formal design system; designing for enterprise SaaS software
  • Understanding of API or product architecture decisions that affect UX in multi-tenant environments

Keep in mind:

  • Not a graphic design, marketing, or developer role. Interaction design and systems thinking are core
  • Portfolio review will focus on problem framing, process, and articulation of design decisions

Here’s what will give you an edge …

Passion. We know it when we see it. It isn't about saying how much you love design in your most excited voice. It shows up in what you've built, how you think about craft, the opinions you bring unprompted, and the standard you hold yourself to. At this level, it matters.

Craft. You care about details and scale, and you have a clear perspective on what good design looks like.

Influence Without Authority. At the senior level, impact comes from shaping how others think. You know how to build alignment and move organizations forward.
