Your Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and evolve hybrid infrastructure across Cloud and bare metal environments.
  • Automate and document technical processes to optimize efficiency and minimize manual toil.
  • Act as a technical reference for the team, supporting developers and facilitating efficient delivery.
  • Ensure platform stability, security, and scalability to withstand high-traffic demands.
  • Comfortable with the DevOps culture
  • Participate in paid on-call rotations to support our critical systems.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in systems administration, DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering.
  • Proven experience managing high-traffic, large-scale production environments.
  • Deep proficiency with major Cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Strong understanding of Kubernetes internals (CNI, Ingress, Network Policies, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with IaC and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Helm, etc.).
  • Deep understanding of Linux environments, including system internals and performance troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals and troubleshooting (Load Balancers, VPCs, Firewalls, DNS).
  • Experience implementing security best practices, including DDoS mitigation and incident response.
  • Proficiency with reverse proxies and CDNs (Cloudflare, CloudFront, Akamai, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with observability and monitoring stacks (ELK/EFK, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic).
  • Experience managing SQL/NoSQL databases and distributed systems (MySQL, Aurora, Redis, MongoDB, OpenSearch).
  • Experience implementing GitOps workflows (ArgoCD or Flux) and configuring scalable CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions or GitLab Pipelines.
  • Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, etc.).

Nice to Have

  • Proficiency with reverse proxies and CDNs (Cloudflare, CloudFront, Akamai, etc.).
  • Experience implementing GitOps workflows (ArgoCD or Flux) and configuring scalable CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions or GitLab Pipelines.
  • Development experience in a general-purpose programming language (Python, JavaScript, Go, Rust, etc.).
  • Experience using agentic AI development tools (i.e. GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, OpenCode, Cursor, Codex, etc.) to streamline day-to-day work (automation, troubleshooting, operational workflows, IaC, etc).

Where and When

From wherever you want, the position is fully remote in the EU.

We’re very flexible about when you get your work done, but we do have some core hours where we like to overlap in order to promote collaboration and low-latency communication between team members (10:00 to 15:00 CET).

Our daily virtual stand-ups are important for us but other than that, you’re free to manage your own time.
