As a Senior GL Accountant, you will play a key role in international finance team, ensuring accurate financial reporting, leading closing activities, supporting complex accounting processes, and contributing to continuous improvements in a modern Scandinavian work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee general ledger accounting and complex account reconciliations;
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes;
- Prepare, analyze, and review financial reports and financial variances;
- Coordinate audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls;
- Communicate with internal stakeholders and clients to resolve complex accounting matters;
- Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and accounting best practices;
- Review work and provide guidance to junior team members where applicable.
What we are looking for
- Higher education in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field;
- Solid experience in accounting, financial reporting, and closing processes;
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and internal controls;
- Experience with audits and financial statement preparation;
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail;
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines;
- Confident communication skills and stakeholder management experience;
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and collaborative approachs;
- Good command of English;
- Scandinavian language skills would be considered an advantage.
