Job description

ABOUT VIKTOR

Viktor is the AI teammate. He lives in Slack and Microsoft Teams, connects to thousands of tools, and does real work for real companies: finance, marketing, ops, engineering. We're building the product that replaces half the SaaS stack.

The team is small. The scope is not.

THE SHORT VERSION

You own how Viktor is understood and how it launches. The positioning across every ICP, the messaging built on real customer evidence, the launches that put it in market, and the enablement that helps sales win with it. Founding PMM seat: no PMM above you, no playbook to inherit, a direct line to the founders.

THE HARD PART

The product works. Teams that try Viktor keep using Viktor. The bottleneck isn't belief, it's language, and the surfaces that carry it. In May 2026 we closed a $75M Series A led by Accel, with Slack's founders co-investing. Last quarter alone we shipped five launches: Viktor for Media Buying, E-commerce, the Skills Marketplace, the Series A, and Viktor for Microsoft Teams. More are queued, and behind them sits the biggest narrative we'll ship.

Right now positioning lives in a few heads and gets produced ad hoc. Fixing that takes two people who are usually not the same person: the strategist who builds positioning from customer evidence, and the operator who ships the launch that carries it. We need both in one seat.

WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY DO

  • Own positioning and messaging across our ICPs: Media Buyer, CSM, AE, ecom operator, agency owner, plus whoever's next. Who we're for, what problem we win on, why us over the alternatives. Built from customer calls and win/loss evidence, not vibes, written down as the one messaging source of truth the whole company sells from, refreshed quarterly.
  • Run every launch end to end. Product and vertical sub-launches are yours: the narrative, the Product Hunt moment, the landing page, paid and organic assets, lifecycle email, social, PR angle, and sales enablement. You set the date and conduct eng, design, lifecycle, and creators onto one timeline so it all goes live the same day.
  • Arm the sales team. We're building an enterprise motion under a new CRO. Live battlecards read weekly, comparison pages, demo narratives, and answers for Glean, Harvey, ChatGPT Enterprise, Cognition, n8n, vertical agents, and the "Slack bot built in a weekend" objection.
  • Talk to customers constantly. Structured interviews, win/loss calls, and surveys that don't lead the witness. Turn what you hear into positioning, and turn the customers themselves into proof: case studies, testimonials, logos, and video, including chasing the permissions.
  • Drive adoption, not just awareness. Most of our revenue is self-serve. Messaging that moves activation and expansion, onboarding and lifecycle language, in-product moments that get teams deeper into Viktor.
  • Inform pricing and packaging. You'll know the buyer and the alternatives better than anyone, so when we package a vertical or tier a plan, you're in the room with a point of view.
  • Ship it yourself. You live in Figma, prototype the page, brief and direct in-house designers, agencies, and video editors, and put production-ready surfaces in market. Technical enough to build, not just spec.

WHO YOU ARE

  • A real PMM, not a first-timer. You've owned positioning and launches before, ideally as the first or only PMM, and you can walk through the framework you use to keep three or more ICPs distinct.
  • Revenue-minded. You know which levers move pipeline, activation, and expansion, and you can show how a positioning or launch decision you made moved a number.
  • A launch operator. You've run product launches end to end, from positioning through Product Hunt, every shipped asset, and the comms behind it. Bring the launch and tell us what it returned.
  • Rigorous with customers. You run unbiased interviews and win/loss, and your positioning cites evidence. Customers into case studies and video, permissions included, is work you've done, not delegated.
  • A technical translator. You can go deep with engineers on how an AI agent actually works, then write the sentence that makes a media buyer care.
  • Hands-on. Figma, landing pages, directing designers and agencies. Range across surfaces: page, paid, lifecycle, social, sales enablement. Same person, samples across all of them.
  • AI-native. You run agents, not a chat window. Customer call synthesis across hundreds of conversations, competitive intel that updates itself, ten positioning variants tested before a normal team drafts one. You operate like a three-person PMM team, and you'll show us how in the interview. This is the product you'll be marketing, and we hire the way we build.
  • Opinionated about the category. Horizontal vs vertical, agentic vs assistive, platform vs single product. We expect you to have a point of view, not to agree with ours.
  • Comfortable in Notion, Linear, PostHog, Hex, and basic SQL, or willing to learn fast. …
