Your mission
Join our Finished Vehicle Logistics (FVL) Operations Division and help shape the success of our new Amsterdam location.
In this role, you will ensure that logistics information is accurate, complete, and available to support the daily movement of vehicles through our network. You will work closely with colleagues, customers, carriers, and internal support teams to monitor performance, maintain data quality, and keep processes running smoothly.
Acting as the link between the business and supporting systems, you will help ensure the right information is available at the right time and contribute to the continued success of our Amsterdam operations.
You enjoy understanding how vehicle logistics works, identifying where information is missing or incorrect, and using data to support better decision-making. You will monitor KPIs, investigate exceptions, coordinate with IT when system issues occur, and contribute to the continuous improvement of Finished Vehicle Logistics processes.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a logistics or IT background who enjoys working with data, systems, reporting, and performance monitoring, while remaining close to the day-to-day business.
Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, this position may be offered at either the Junior Specialist or Specialist level, with responsibilities aligned to your experience and opportunities for professional growth within the company.
Your Responsibilities
Data Quality & Control
- Monitor the daily flow of information across customers, carriers, and partners.
- Ensure vehicle movements, statuses, deliveries, and key milestones are accurately recorded and p erform regular data checks and resolve inconsistencies that may affect planning, customer reporting, or invoicing . Proactively i dentify issues and work with internal teams and external partners to resolve them.
KPI & Performance Monitoring
- Maintain EDI performance reports, dashboards, and data quality metrics.
- Keep documentation up to date for interfaces and processes.
- Support testing and implementation of new partners, systems, and processes.
Business Support
- Act as the first point of contact for data and reporting-related questions.
- Support colleagues with the information needed for day-to-day activities.
- Coordinate with IT teams and external partners when system or data issues require technical support.
Your profile
- HBO degree or equivalent, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration , IT or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in logistics , supply chain, transport, or IT .
- Proven e xperience in working with operational data, EDI, reporting, or KPI monitoring.
- Comfortable working with Excel and logistics systems (TMS, ERP, or similar).
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Able to coordinate with different stakeholders and solve operational issues.
- Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
- German is an advantage, but not required .
