We are bringing on our second legal hire to work alongside our General Counsel and VP of Operations as a true generalist. Excellent credentials and experience are a plus as always, but we are primarily interested in someone who is willing to be scrappy, learn on the fly, tackle unclear problems, juggle conflicting priorities, and take ownership.

The immediate priority is our EMEA commercial pipeline, but the role will not have strict guardrails and would be as expansive as business needs and your willingness to grow allow.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Draft, review, and assist in negotiating enterprise customer agreements and other commercial agreements, working closely with Sales to drive deals from origination to closing.
• Advise on compliance across corporate, employment, data privacy, AI, and other regulatory areas.
• Support corporate governance workstreams, including entity management and board and stockholder matters.
• Support the People & Culture team with policy rollouts and employee-related queries.
• Support M&A and financing processes, including diligence workstreams
• Assist with cap table and equity plan management and documentation.
• Manage projects with outside counsel.
• Partner directly with Product, Engineering, Sales, HR, and Finance to ensure legal alignment on projects.
• Prepare internal legal training materials, documentation, and guidelines for team members.

WHAT YOU BRING

• We are big on soft skills. Hard skills can typically be trained.
• A low-ego, high-ownership approach.
• 4+ years of relevant legal experience in demanding roles where you took on significant early responsibility.
• A law degree and an active license to practice in an EMEA jurisdiction.
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills, with particular depth in B2B SaaS commercial agreements.
• EU and international data privacy experience.
• Prior experience working with or within international companies, ideally US-based tech or SaaS businesses.
• The communication skills and social intelligence to build trust across a globally dispersed team and coordinate complex issues across functions.
