Position: Sonic Audit Specialist - German
Type: Contract
Compensation: $42/hour
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI training data in German by auditing multilingual transcription and forced alignment tasks.
• Review recordings and transcriptions to ensure accuracy, applying error codes and providing clear rationales.
• Verify and correct audio segments for precise start and end timestamps, ensuring transcription alignment.
• Work independently to deliver high-quality judgments with detailed written feedback.
• Collaborate asynchronously, maintaining consistency across hundreds of judgments.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Native or near-native command of German as spoken in Germany.
• Strong English reading and writing skills.
• Experience in transcription, subtitling, localization, or linguistic annotation.
• Ability to apply a disciplined rubric consistently.

Preferred

• Prior AI data annotation or model evaluation experience.
• Background in phonetics or linguistics .
• Experience with audio editing or waveform tools.
