Freelance Spanish (Spain) Linguist - IT & Software Project

We are looking for a native Spanish-speaking linguist to join our team for a long-term collaboration on international localization projects.

What you’ll do

• Perform Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE) of Spanish (Spain) content.
• Occasionally provide human translation when required.
• Review and edit translated content to ensure linguistic accuracy, fluency, consistency, and naturalness .
• Work on IT and software-related content , following project-specific guidelines and terminology.

Requirements

• Native speaker of Spanish (Spain), other Spanish varieties will not be taken into consideration.
• At least 3 years of professional experience as a linguist, translator, or MTPE specialist.
• Proven experience in IT/software localization .
• Excellent command of Spanish (Spain) grammar, style, and terminology.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across large volumes of content.
• Ability to work independently and meet agreed deadlines.
• Familiarity with CAT tools and localization workflows is highly desirable.
• Willing to take client-specific translation test.
