Customer Support Specialist - Working Student
Eye Security is a fast-growing cybersecurity scale-up founded in 2020 by three employees of the Dutch Secret Service with the mission to protect the digital assets of SMEs across Europe. With a robust portfolio under the Eye Cyber Guard product bundle, Eye Security offers customized cybersecurity solutions in a subscription-based SaaS model. The offering ranges from Managed Detection and Response, Incident Response and Attack Surface Management to Security Awareness Services and Insurance and is aimed at a customer base of over 1000 companies. Eye Security currently employs over 150 ambitious IT experts in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and the UK.

About the role
As a Customer Support Specialist for Eye, you will be responsible for helping our customers with answering concrete cybersecurity questions, registering, classifying, and prioritizing everything that comes in, handling customer requests, and ensuring that the customer is updated on the progress of their requests. You will also be responsible for ensuring that work instructions and guides remain up to date.
What we expect from you:
- Help our customers and partners with answering concrete cybersecurity, administrative and operational questions
- Register, classify, and prioritize everything that comes in
- Process and track customer and partner support requests, ensuring proper resolution
- Keep customers and partners updated on the progress of their requests
- Ensure that work instructions and guides remain up to date
Key Focus Areas:
- Provide excellent service to customers and partners
- Resolve incidents and requests as quickly as possible
- Consult with more experienced colleagues to solve more complex problems
- Maintain up-to-date work instructions and guides
- Adhere to ways of working agreed within the team
What you will need:
- Studying or just finished an HBO or University course, preferably focused on IT or Cyber Security
- Proven knowledge of corporate IT environments
- Analytical, customer- and result-focused
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent in both English and Dutch, written and spoken. German would be a plus.
- Available for 2 days / week on average
- Working from home, combined with working from the office in The Hague (min. 1 day a week)
