Job description

ABOUT US

What if your work could drive change in a globally established industry, shaping processes that touch every corner of the world? At Forto, we are at the forefront of change, harnessing the power of AI to revolutionise logistics. We want to reinvent digital supply chains to be transparent, frictionless and sustainable. From day one, our mission has been to simplify global trade – creating a seamless and efficient logistics process.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a Corporate Finance Analyst for a hands-on, 2–3 month engagement at Forto. This isn't a "build a five-year model and hand it off" role, we need someone who gets energized by undefined problems, who can walk into ambiguity, figure out how things should work, and then actually make it happen. Think less "strategic advisor," more "person who diagnoses the gap and closes it." You'll organize how finance operates internally, turn strategy into a working process, and execute it yourself and not just hand over a recommendation. If you like fixing things more than planning them, this is worth a conversation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support in quick adjustments to the Business plan or the financial model
  • Analyze the trend in KPIs of Forto - especially relating to commercial metrics such as volume generation across products and tradelanes, total revenues/gross profit, unit economics, etc
  • Support the preparation of various pitchdeck
  • Develop satisfactory ad-hoc analysis on various topics (such as response analysis from potential investors)
  • Support with maintenance of the IRL and VDR
  • Support with day-to-day project management on fundraising

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 2-3 years of experience in Corporate Finance, FP&A or similar position with emphasis on forecasting, financial analysis, and financial modeling
  • Proven experience thriving in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Deep financial modeling skills that allow you to create insightful financial analyses
  • Ideally has an experience in fundraise/ M&A and any deal
  • Proven track record of being a team player and hands-on
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills (Excel and PPT (Gsheets and Gslides))

Don’t fit all of our criteria? That’s okay! We know that you might be hesitant to apply if you don’t meet all our requirements, but here at Forto, we pride ourselves on embracing diverse perspectives and celebrating potential. If you are passionate about this position and the Forto values, please apply anyway. There could be a place for you in this role - or another one that’s a perfect fit!

WHY WORK WITH US?

Our team is hard-working, constantly seeking to maximise the impact of their work, but we put our people first, always winning with care. We value efficient systems and swift, direct communication. We want everyone to have their time to speak, so that we can embrace diverse perspectives to help drive towards solutions always.
