Backend/Integration Test Engineer

You will be:

• prepare and execute test cases for backend and integration scenarios,
• perform API testing, including file generation, event flows and Bulk API round-trips,
• test integrations between Salesforce and other backend systems,
• validate integrations with SEDA, Elliot and an AKS-based integration system,
• prepare and maintain test data,
• support test environment maintenance and troubleshooting,
• analyze test results and report defects,
• collaborate with developers, business analysts and other QA engineers in a distributed team.

Your profile:

• hands-on experience in backend, API or integration testing,
• practical experience with API testing and integration test scenarios,
• experience preparing test cases and maintaining test data,
• understanding of backend event flows and system integrations,
• experience testing integrations with Salesforce or similar enterprise platforms,
• good understanding of QA processes and testing methodologies,
• ability to investigate issues across integrated systems and communicate findings clearly,
• Italian at B2+ level ,
• good English communication skills,
• willingness to work from Milan 2–3 days per quarter .

Nice to have:

• experience with Salesforce integrations,
• experience with Bulk API or similar APIs,
• familiarity with SEDA,
• familiarity with Elliot,
• experience with AKS or other Kubernetes-based integration environments.
