Your mission

Join our Group Finance team at an exciting time — JTL has acquired several companies in the past, and you'll get hands-on exposure to integrating the accounting of newly acquired companies. It's a great opportunity to learn how a Group Finance function really works — from day-to-day accounting to cross-functional projects.

What to expect:

• Support in the preparation of the monthly and annual financial statements
• Support the accounting integration of newly acquired companies as part of our M&A activity
• Clarify questions on accounting and reporting, and help build best-in-class processes and documentation under guidance
• Contribute to the automation of day-to-day accounting workflows using modern tools and scripting

Your profile

• You are currently studying, or have recently completed a degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• You are available for an internship of 4–6 months
• You have very good written and spoken German and English skills
• You have gained initial hands-on experience through an internship in a finance department or a consulting/audit company
• You are confident using MS Office, especially Excel
• You have basic knowledge of AI tools and a strong interest in them
• You work in a detail-oriented and precise way
• Location: We have an office in Hürth (Cologne) and Hückelhoven (candidates based near Aachen, Maastricht, Mönchengladbach or Cologne are also well-suited). Remote/Hybrid is possible.
